    Amazing
    - Has a very good build quality.
    - It works amazing.
    - You can attach it two DC motors or 1 stepper motor with 4 phases
    - Its precision is absolutely fantastic.
    - It's cheap.
    - Has a slim design, so you can mount it on a small car and still have enough space for other sensors.
    - You can use it easily with arduino, pic, ATmel, ETC...

    Works great
    Tested with DIY robot platform motors at 5-6V. It works with or without ardunio attached. Connect the 5V terminal to the appropriate pin in order to have independent forward and reverse motion for two DC motors. Stepper support not tested.
    Suggestion
    The heat sink is close to the height limit to mount underneath a DIY robot chassis.
