Very happy with this headset

The box is very nicely printed, but all that’s inside is the headphones them,self in a rather disappointing bubble wrap bag, and an adaptor for splitting out the mic and headphone from a single 3.5mm plug to separate jacks.

I highly doubt the cups are really leather coated as claimed on the box, but the fabric is soft and the cushioning underneath is plenty adequate. The plastics do flex and rattle a bit, but not too much. They still look quite nice, especially the bits with a soft touch finish.

The biggest issue for me is that they’re a little tight for my head. The band is cushioned in the same way as the cups and that’s perfectly fine.

On to the sound itself, I’m quite impressed. Songs with a lot layers don’t get flattened and you can still pick out the individual instruments and little flourishes, which easily get lost on cheap headphones. It’s not got a terrible mic either, it's reasonably clear and plenty loud, but there might be a little interference.

a good and cheap headset for gaming

I was looking for a decent set of headphones to play Fortnight and something that had good noise cancelling to reduce the background noise from my house. This pair did the trick and has excellent sound for listening and talking.

Pros
The over the ears headset is fairly comfortable for a couple of hours of game play
The sound is great with no crackle like noise
The mic works great with others reporting my voice is clear and free of background noise
The headset fits my head and I have a 7 1/4 hat size head

Cons
The finish work on the headset is a little rough where the design could have been more rounded and smooth, but is not a deal breaker.
