Chuwi Lapbook SE Laptop 4G+32G EMMC+128G SSD

Dopo la solita lunga attesa mi arriva finalmente il tanto desiderato acquisto e l'impressione è fin da subito buona. La scatola di cartone essenziale racchiude il pc ed il piccolo caricatore, stop.
La prima cosa che colpisce è l'ottima solidità data dalla struttura esterna in acciaio, la parte interna è di una plastica di buona fattura e non fa rimpiangere l'assenza di materiali più pregiati. Lo schermo è abbastanza luminoso e ben definito anche se lontano dai livelli raggiunti dagli schermi di fascia alta, invece la tastiera ha un'ottima corsa e colpisce per le dimensioni generose, risulta essere addirittura più grande di quella presente su pc con schermi con pillociaggio superiore. Il trouchpad ha dimensioni generose e risponde bene, solo ogni tanto confonde la gesture di scroll up and down con quella di zoom (per risolvere l'inconveniente durante la navigazione web basta disabilitare lo zoom nel browser). Il layout della tastiera è logicemnete americano, ma basta impostare come tastiera "america internazionale" e le lettere accentate non saranno più un problema.
Con questo lapbook scordatevi problemi di surriscaldamento, non accade mai neppure sotto stress, nei momenti di maggiore stress però abbiamo un rallentamento generale della macchina (a me è capitato soltanto durante l'installazione del pesantissimo aggiornamento cumulativo di Win 10).

Alcune cose che consiglio:
-appena finite l'installazione di Win armatevi di pazienza, clonate il disco eMMc sulla buona unità SSD, ci sono applicazioni free che fanno questa copia
-una cosa più complicata sarà poi ampliare la partizione principale venutasi a creare sul SSD così da sfruttare tutti i 128 GB presenti, questo passaggio mi ha fatto impazzire ma alla fine ce l'ho fatta
-poi bisogna cambiare nel BIOS il boot d'avvio in modo che il sistema parta da SSD, non è una cosa complicata e ci si mette poco
-una volta che siete sicuri del corretto funzionamento su SSD allora potete formattare eMMc ed usarla come disco di archiviazione aggiuntivo
-installare l'applicazione di aggiornamento driver di Intel così ceh tutti i componenti vengano aggiornati al meglio
-dopo questi aggiornamenti ho avuto uin problema con la scheda wifi, ma è bastato disattivarla e reinstallarla dopo aver eseguito l'aggiornamneto cumulativo di Win e si è tutto risolto
-consigllio di alleggerire Win dalle funzioni inutili che ha al suo interno (giocate bene nei settaggi del pc e siete a posto, non credo occorrano magheggi per clocchare la CPU, così evitiamo che scaldi)

L'autonomia per quanto mi riguarda è fantastica e i tempi di ricarica non sono apocalittici.
Lo schermo ha vetro lucido quindi attenzione ai riflessi, personalmente non uso il pc all'esterno quindi il problema non sussiste.

Insomma assolutamente soddisfatto dell'acquisto, salbvo strane sorprese in futuro.

I have definitely mixed feelings about the Chuwi Lapbook SE. First of all, my Lapbook came with black fingerprints all over it! The Windows Setup was already been done! That was the first thing that stopped my joy that I got my „new“ laptop after I have waited for over a month (I preordered it). Next thing I did was to wipe Windows 10 from the eMMC and I did a fresh installation on to the (very good!) SSD. During the first testing I noticed three more things that really got me mad! First thing was the „huge“ bezels of the otherwise beautiful IPS Screen. Here again you will fall for the false advertisement! They are not a dealbreaker for me, but judging by the promo pictures provided in the product description you expect something else. The second thing is that the Lapbook SE has no full aluminium body. The top panel where the keyboard is located is made of plastic. Again no dealbreaker but different as advertised! The bottom and the screen back panel are indeed made from metal. The third thing and this was not a surprise for me the speakers. The sound is not really rich. The lack of bass is rediculous, the sound is to a point clear but fades when cranked up. Again, for me this is not a dealbreaker but I feel somehow betrayed from the false advertisement.

Enough of the bad things:
The rest of the Chuwi Lapbook SE is just amazing, especially concidering the pricepoint! The keyboard is a dream to type on. The Keys are very big. The Backlight is really evenly spread and just stunning. The display has a Full HD resolution and looks really good and sharp. The colors are great. I love the glossy screen but that is not for everybody as I found out while showing the Lapbook to some friends. The built in SSD is fast! The WIFI module works great and all connections work fine. The touchpad is simply great. It is spacous and precise. The batterylife seems ok. For the first two days with a lot of installation and so on I can not really judge this. One of the greatest (I know it is minor but pretty) thing is that you can open the laptop with one hand! For most it might be not worth mentioning but for me it gives the lapbook se a elegant touch. The overall built quality is very good.

Overall I do not regret that I bought this laptop. It is really worth the money. They only thing that bothered me is the false advertisement. If they only were 100 % honest about their product. This would not effect the sells because they built a really great product in this case!

Llevo una semana o así con el portátil, y por el precio que tiene (mi review esta enfocada en torno al precio) de verdad que no puedo estar más contento con el. Materiales muy agradables, una pantalla de gran calidad con unos muy buenos ángulos de visión, un teclado súper agradable y retroiluminado en dos tonos de intensidad, una combinación entre procesador-ram-almacenamiento estupenda, en fin, que me encanta. No he sido capaz de encontrarle apenas pegas, lo único que podría destacar es que hay un par de teclas que dependiendo en la zona que pulses tiene un sonido un poco raro, pero es algo que sinceramente no es apenas molesto y no afectará a la totalidad de los portátiles (quizás solo al mio le pase). Otra cosa a destacar es que el trackpad funciona muy bien, tiene multi-touch y funcionan bien con los gestos de windows ademas de ser muy preciso, lo único es que tanto el click izquierdo tanto derecho son un poco duros, pero que es algo que tampoco me moleste apenas. Ya lo ultimo es que windows viene instalado en el eMMC, lo cual no es muy practico porque con un par de actualizaciones se llena, lo que recomiendo es nada mas tener el portatil pasar windows al M.2 (es super sencillo), y asi os ahorrareis en un futuro tener que hacer una copia de seguridad y todo el royo. Ah se me olvidaba, el portátil viene con una licencia de windows 10 home, lo cual es de muy agradecer ya que portatiles de 1400$ siquiera lo traen. En definitiva, solo tiene esos pequeños fallitos que son como una ínfima parte comparada con todo lo bueno que trae. Además tiene pinta de ser fiable y duradero, ya que según chuwi ha pasado por unos ciertos controles de calidad (te incluye en la caja un papelito donde dice que pruebas se le han hecho). ¿Recomiendo la compra?, pues claro, siempre que el uso que le vayas a dar no sea muy exigente, y aún así, porque he probado ha realizar varios proyectos con photoshop con el y la verdad es que se ha manejado mejor de lo que esperaba, incluso he llegado a jugar a juegos antiguos como COD4 y la verdad es que lo ha movido bien. Es un portátil perfecto para aquellas personas que no quieren gastarse mucho dinero y necesiten un portátil práctico, útil y liviano (pesa 1,3kg). Otra cosa, ya sabéis que si lo compráis por gearbest os va a tardar un poquito-bastante, y lo de aduanas bueno, a mi no me lo han parado, pero quien sabe. También recomendaría gastarme un poquito más e incluir el seguro de transporte, por si acaso. Todo lo demás bien, te lo trae DHL. En definitiva, que me gusta mucho el portátil y que lo recomiendo mucho, un saludo.

Let me start off with the delivery it took a whole month for it to arrive. I ordered on the 19th December and arrived 18th of January, it's a bit long but its ok. Tracking was easy and clear.

The Laptop itself is absolutely beautiful too look at the aluminium build is a plus, all my friends and family cannot believe that it only cost £230 including delivery.
The performance has been really good I use mainly for web browsing, email, Media consumption and social media, it does those tasks with flying colours.
The keyboard is an absolute gem to type on really good feel and a good amount of tactile feedback, I normally use a Cherry MX Brown switch on my desktop and hand on heart its one of the best laptop keyboards I've typed on.
The thermals are excellent doesn't go above 57c normal usage, and it is super quiet there are absolutely zero moving parts, that's awesome.
The only thing I am not happy about is the 4gb DDR4 it would have been one the best laptops in its category if it had 8gb DDR4 but its still ok for I use it for.
The Sound is really flat no bass at all, I have 5.1 surround sound speakers so It's not much of an issue in my case.
The 1080p FHD screen is really nice to look at the colour accuracy is actually really good the brightness levels are good as well it has S-RGB 93% which is amazing at this price point.
One more thing which is not a big issue, in my opinion, the OS is installed on the 32gb SanDisk EMMc drive it should have been installed on the 128gb Forsee SSD, nevertheless, it can easily be cloned over which I have already done, makes boot loading times and file access rapid.

All in all this laptop is a no brainer if you're looking to use it for light tasks and generall use it's fantastic, don't expect it to be as fast as your i7 desktop though.
I recommend this to anybody who needs an affordable but yet surprising powerful laptop to get general and light tasks done, don't look any further.

I ordered this product in mid October and it arrived this weekend. Although I understand this is normal for most items from Gearbest being shipped to the UK the tracking statuses were difficult to understand at times and after 6 weeks it stated that it had still not left customs in China. This particular status did not update for another week and then suddenly it went from "held at customs" to "will be delivered tomorrow". So yes I was left very confused by this and was nearly left under the impression that my package was lost. Nonetheless I can understand why the delivery may have been slightly slower but the tracking information needs to be a bit more specific and refined.
Moving on, the Chuwi laptop feels like a premium high end device at a remarkably low price point, and I can see why all the reviews I've seen have given it such a positive image. But when I first booted it up, it seems like it had already been configured with an existing Windows 10 account, which left me a bit puzzled. The other issue is the primary boot up disk being the slower and smaller eMMC drive, but I have found some cloning utilities on the internet that should solve this. Other than that the device is very responsive and practical. The keyboard feels great and super comfortable to type on and it helps that its backlit. The lid can be lifted up without needing to hold down the palm rest. I bought this laptop to take to university instead of my big Lenovo, and it seems as though this laptop performs much faster thanks to the flash drives and higher RAM. I have very positive first impressions with this laptop and would definitely recommend it to friends.

Ottimo per un uso non troppo intenso per quindi navigazione, social, office e piccoli ritocchi grafici e video. La qualità costruttiva sembra buona fatto salvo per le bolle d'aria presenti sul mio display causati da una non perfetta installazione della protezione (ho avuto un rimborso per questo). Come già detto da altri meglio installare w10 su ssd (o addirittura sostituirla con altra più capiente). In rete ci sono video tutorial per questo. Video tutorial anche per migliorare la dissipazione del calore e per aumentarne la potenza a discapito della durata della batteria (uso medio 6 ore 6.5 ore). Ottima la retroilluminazione della tastiera. Si deve fare attenzione agli aggiornamenti w10 che riempono quasi subito i 32 gb della emmc. Installazione lingua italiana semplice fin da subito, anche se alcuni aggiornamenti (vedi l'ultimo) la riportano in inglese. Ricarica in 2 ore circa. Alimentazione già con presa eu ma hanno comunque inviato adattatore eu. Spedizione nei tempi previsti ma tempi di attesa per la spedizione troppo lunghi e non dichiarati. Politica dei prezzi non ottimale... In prevendita costava di più per esempio.

Всем привет. как видно из названия ... тренируюсь)) был у меня рабочий неплохой ноутбук. забрали:( Решил посмотреть в сторону китайцев. в итоге нашел распродажу на GearBest. ну все за дело. заказал 20 сентября за 11780р вместе с доставкой. на территории РФ пришло через СДЭК. ноут лёгкий. дизайн супер. разъем у зарядки правда как от нокии старой. тонкий круглый. проц конечно не i-7 но офис. Фотошоп . 1с и даже webstorm и IDEA 2018 тянет. благо оперативная память позволяет. но ему конечно тяжеловато. 4 гига мало. пришлось оптимизировать windows и удалить всего не нужного из системы. батарея очень крутая. Брал в командировку. Хватило на два перелета по 2 часа без зарядки. из плюсов ещё подсветка клавиатуры. но сильно злоупотреблять не надо - жрет зарядку. В стандартной комплектации нет русских букв на клавиатуре - но мне норм даже, теперь даже не смотрю когда печатаю( да и некуда:)) итог таков. Он своих денег стоит - так как предназначен для повседневного пользования( не игр. кино hd тянет хорошо. звук приличный) весит не много и диагональ 13.

Il computer mi è arrivato qualche giorno fa , e le impressioni che ho avuto sono più che positive. non ho avuto modo di testarlo granchè però posso dire che la batteria sembra tenere botta , anche più di quello che mi aspettavo. il pc sembra girare bene e esteticamente è davvero bello.
L imballaggio del prodotto è davvero superlativo, sono rimasto sbalordito quando ho aperto il pacco,curato davvero nei minimi dettagli. insomma per quello che offre questo computer devo dire che ne vale davvero la pena , lo consiglierei sicuramente per chi cerca un laptop senza troppe pretese, a questo prezzo poi. un altro consiglio che do è di scegliere la spedizione veloce , anche spendendo qualcosa in più perchè io ho scelto la standard e ho dovuto aspettare un po, come da protocollo. do 4 stelle perchè non ho avuto ancora modo di testare a fondo il computer.

Muy buen equipo, se ve de calidad premium por los materiales, rápido, solo que la memoria emmc donde esta el sistema operativo, es muy limitada y cambie el sistema operativo a la ssd para tener más espacio, esto fue un poco complicado por la configuración de la bios, para hacer el cambio utilice 2 aplicaciones (easeUS todo back up) Para clonar el sistema operativo de fabrica en la ssd y (partition master free) Para redimencionar la misma, ahora a probar a fondo el equipo.

Toda la distribución de teclado pantalla y bocinas esta correcto y funciona perfectamente hasta el momento, su cargador es muy genérico, por lo demás todo bien espero no tener problemas a futuro aun que se dice que el tiempo de vida de estos dispocitivos en óptimas condiciones es de poco más de 2 años por el tipo de almacenamiento emmc

Ho comprato il computer in offerta, rapporto qualità prezzo imbattibile. Appena arrivato l'ho acceso e ho subito notato una linea sullo schermo. Mi sono immediatamente reso conto che lo schermo era danneggiato, il problema non è dovuto al corriere ma è un ''difetto'' di fabbrica. C'era una linea chiara in alto che partiva dal lato e terminava al centro dello schermo. Ho contattato l'assistenza e mi hanno detto che dovevo restituire il computer a spese mie e mi avrebbero rimborsato fino ad un massimo di 30 euro. Ho speso 37 euro per la spedizione ma alla fine mi hanno rimborsato fino all'ultimo centesimo (anche se con il cambio valuta ci ho rimesso qualcosina). Mi dispiace per il prodotto danneggiato, avevo chiesto la sostituzione ma non avendo disponibilità di altri computer mi hanno dovuto restituire i soldi. Peccato perchè il prezzo è ottimo.
