Jumper EZBOOK 3 PRO Notebook 6GB RAM 64GB eMMC

So I decided to grab one of those Apollo Lake based Chinese laptops and see what is all about. GearBest had a great deal on that Jumper EZBook 3 Pro a few weeks ago for $249 shipped and I had to jump right on it. I have to say so far I am extremely pleased with it, again especially for the price, its an outstanding deal.
The Jumper EZBook 3 Pro is very well put together, with a very solid metal build on both shell and screen lid, very light and delivers a great battery life, between 7 and 8 hours of normal browsing, watching videos and office work.
The ability to upgrade the internal storage to m.2 SATA disk with a size of your choice is great, because the internal EMMC storage is not the fastest and if you want to maximize your performance, you definitely need to upgrade there. The Ram is 6GB, which is plenty and definitely a lot better than 4GB most other OEM are offering with that architecture. The screen is amazing, especially for the price, IPS, 1080P, matte and not glossy, 13.3'' with perfect viewing angles, I love it.
Stay tuned for the full review, but for now, I have to say that I am impressed and I love that little laptop, its great for my personal needs when travel or on the road.

Это 4-я версия ноутбука. Экран хорош - FHD 1920*1080, IPS размером 13.3 ", матовый. Углы обзора, яркость, цвета на 4+. Двухдиапазонный WiFi AC от Intel. BT. Улучшения по сравнению с более ранними версиями ноутбука - новый, адекватный тачпад, изменения в резиновой окантовке рамки экрана, лючок для SSD, настройки в биосе разблокированы.
По моему скромному мнению - этот ноутбук получился очень приятным внешне и сбалансированным, с точки зрения "железа" и его стоимости. Он не подойдет для действительно "тяжелых" игр - процессор, мягко говоря, не самый мощный, видеокарта интегрированная, да и система пассивного охлаждения не беспредельна. Для серфинга в интернете, просмотра видео, работы с документами, для средних по нагрузке игр и развлечений - вполне годный ноутбук с приличным временем автономной и тихой работы за разумные деньги )) Рекомендую.

Improvements compared to earlier versions of the laptop - a new, adequate touchpad, changes in the rubber edging screen frame, a hatch for the SSD setting in the BIOS is unlocked.
IMHO, this laptop is very nice externally and balanced from the point of view of "iron" and its value. It will not do for really "heavy" games - the CPU, to put it mildly, not the most powerful, integrated graphics card, and passive cooling system are not unlimited. For surfing the Internet, watching videos, working with documents, for medium load of games and entertainment - quite good laptop with a decent battery, and quiet operation for a reasonable price )) I Recommend.

Итак начну я наверное с того,что это отличный товар по соотношению Цена:Качество. Хоть здесь и не пойдут новые игры или сложные программы для моделирования, этому ноутбуку все равно есть чем гордиться. Например обычный серфинг,просмотр фильмов в 1080 или 4к и большое количество вкладок. Так же здесь замечательно работают такие программы как, Фотошоп и Сони вегас, мне как веб-разработчику все нравиться. Так же здесь пойдут нетребовательные или старые игры, например у меня прекрасно идет Human resourse machiche, One bilion human и Shenzhen. Любые среды программирования тоже работают нормально.Батарея здесь тоже очень хорошая, держит 4-5 часов в режиме активного использования.

С плюсами закончил, теперь хочу описать немного минусов. Здесь есть лотерея с батареями, у вас 50/50 что через пару месяцев ваша батарея вздуется и прийдется покупать новую. Если вы хотите увеличить производительность, то вам прийдется докупать медную пластину для усиления пасивного охлаждения. И наконец здесь, как и с батареей присутствует лотерея с ССД дисками, есть вероятность что он будет некоректно работать. Любое решение проблем вы сможете найти ветке 4пда.

Хочу сделать небольшое отступление и рассказать по поводу доставки. Наверное мне просто не повезло,но посылка у меня шла не 25 дней, а все 30 до Московской области.В техподдержке мне писали, что у посылки еще есть время, но его уже не было. В итоге заказал посылку 22.09.2018 а получил 21.10.2018. Так что если у вас будет возможность выбрать эксперс доставку, то лучше откажитесь и выберите обычную почту.

P.S Предупреждают вас, ни в коем случае не обновлять драйвера через программы. Получил клавиатуру,которая перестала работать. П

I bought the EZbook 3 Pro for my family, since we needed a new laptop for general use (emails, social media,...). I got it roughly 15 working days after the order and now, after some days of usage, I can give the first impressions.

The build quality is overall good: the computer looks really nice (and incredibly similar to my Macbook Air); the metal cover feels nice and solid; the keyboard is ok, way better than I thought; the touchpad feels a little cheap but it's not actually bad and works just fine. The usb ports are the only small issue with construction quality (as shown in pics) but they work just fine.

Setting up Windows 10 was really easy and, after the first start up, the performances are pretty stable. The laptop is surprisingly fast to load apps and pages and doesn't get too laggy even with multiple open tabs on Chrome. I had a little issue translating the OS in Italian but it was nothing serious and I solved it in a few minutes.

The screen is the best feature: the full HD screen works like a charm and the colors are incredibly good, considering the price. I can't say the same for the audio, which is pretty poor and low in volume. Just use it with headphones.

The battery, as of now, is not bad at all and can power up the machine for a whole day. The only real problem with the EZbook 3 Pro is, without any doubt, the charger: the cable is so short (as shown in pics) and feels pretty cheap.

All things considered I'm really really happy with this product and I would suggest it to anyone who need a reliable laptop for a casual everyday usage like university students and families.

La he recibido ayer a dos días de haberla comprado (me aseguré de elegir un almacén en España :). Al abrirla me sorprendió (para bien) ver que se incluía un pequeño adaptador ya que el cargador no es norma Europea. Estéticamente es preciosa y la calidad de la pantalla excelente. El touchpad funciona muy bien incluyendo gestos. Es muy fluída y la batería responde con muy buena autonomía por el momento. No estamos en días de mucho calor, pero la carcaza se siente siempre fría. Me faltaría probar si linux va bien en ella. Las especificaciones son tal cual se detallan en la página de este producto y de más está decir que son increíbles para el precio de este dispositivo. Hasta ahora realmente feliz con la compra.

Comentarios sobre el primer inicio y la instalación:

Encontré un pequeño instructivo en inglés (no el manual, un papel azul pequeño) donde leí lo que aconsejaba hacer ante diversos problemas. Al intentar encenderla, nada. Pues hice como decía este papel y la dejé cargando como dos horas hasta que la luz se puso en verde. Encendió y comencé la configuración de Win10 sin problemas. Luego, para evitar los típicos problemas que ocasiona Windows actualizándose cuando es recién instalado, fui a la configuración y me aseguré una tras otra vez de instalar las actualizaciones hasta que no haya más. Esto fueron otras dos horas!!! Y con algún que otra pantalla negra, como si algo fallara, pero nada, a dejarla que es Windows poniéndose al día... no hay opción.

Explico ésto porque leí muchos reviews de situaciones de problemas y defectos que en realidad parecen ligados al software y no con el dispositivo.

прислали за 2 недели ровно. к доставке никаких вопросов нет, все хорошо. ноутбук сам пришел немного кривой, что меня разочаровало очень. правый угол, где шарнир экрана находится, был согнут, причем прилично, от чего дисплей как и сам ноутбук не стоял ровно на столе. на экране есть пару засветив, но это не страшно и вполне ожидаемо. из косяков и царапин заметил только маленькую царапину на торце, в глаза не бросается. написал продавцу по поводу данный повреждений, на что он мне в ответ предложил компенсировать это бонусами GB стоимостью 4 доллара( аж смешно). после недели общение и упорной ругани с продавцом, они согласились перечислить мне часть средств за предоставленные неудобства и повреждённый товар, где то 20$. данные косяки не мешают работоспособности ноутбук,так что претензии после возмещения средств вполне устраивает все, и сам ноутбук отличный за эти деньги, просто космос! не игровой конечно, но в старые игрушки типа Cs 1.6, source, stalker SOC вполне идут без каких либо проблем и тормозов, видео 4К без проблем запускает, даже как то можно монтировать, правда очень долго, 2-х минутный ролик монтировал где то 3-4 часа, терпимо. офис Эксель все работает на ура,даже Фотошоп что то показывает и делает) рекомендую! только одно важное но! следите за аккумулятором, ноут очень бооится перезаряда и теперь самым быстро портится ( сел аккумулятор, зарядили до 100 и сразу же отключили и дальше работать, не оставляйте на зарядку даже если вы работаете на нем).

Привезли через 2 недели на дом, и это бесплатной доставкой!В коробке с ноутбуком находилось: сам ноутбук, зарядное устройство, наклейки на клавиатуру (так-как русского языка на ней нету).
Корпус ноутбука выполнен из алюминия. Очень качественная и монолитная сборка!
Ноутбук очень легкий, и это немного неудобно - иногда, когда иду куда-то перепроверяю, положил ли я его в рюкзак, ибо он очень легкий! Сам алюминий из которого сделан корпус - довольно прочный, не гнется, вмятин не остается от удара.
Экран ноутбука - матовый, из за своего Full HD (1920х1080) разрешения, пришлось увеличить разрешение интерфейса, так-как текст было трудно рассмотреть!
Процессор у ноутбука энерго-эффективный, из за чего он слабо нагревается и медленно разряжается, так-же алюминиевый корпус помогает рассеивать тепло.
Что касается батареи: она очень долго держит ноутбук даже на максимальной яркости, в режиме интернет серфинга или редактора текста, у меня он садится в среднем за 6 часов.
6гб. ОЗУ хватает с головой, но увы - расширить нельзя!
64гб впаяной памяти - хватает с головой для ОС и пары программ, но можно расширить с помощью M2 SSD (короткого), и так-же с помощью MicroSD карты!
Тачпад очень даже годный, отзывчивый, приятная поверхность!

Опишу этот ноутбук одним словом - СКАЗКА. Альтернатив он не имеет!

Computer con case in alluminio. Acquistato come primo pc per una ragazza quattordicenne. Nella prima accensione il S.O. è in inglese ma basta scaricare la lingua italiana che tutto si sistema. Ho preso la versione con SSD da 128 Giga. Costa poco di più rispetto alla 64. Probabilmente acquisterò una ulteriore Memory da 256 Giga per lo storage delle fotografie.
La versione da 128 Giga ha la tastiera Qwerty internazionale e quindi per la personalizzazione italiana va acquistato il kit di adesivi da applicare sui tasti. L'unica vera pecca risiede, a mio avviso, sull'alimentatore con spina non UE. C'è un adattatore ma il fissaggio è critico. Non ha un aggancio a clip ma si inserisce semplicemente e quindi, essendo il gruppo piuttosto ingombrante, si stacca facilmente. Inoltre il cavo di alimentazione è corto. Consiglio vivamente l'acquisto a parte di un alimentatore con spina italiana.
Per quanto riguarda lo schermo direi che è ottimo. Il pc, grazie al SSD si accende molto rapidamente. Il rapporto qualità / prezzo è eccellente. Ovviamente è un pc che non permette applicazioni pesanti di editing video (per le foto invece va molto bene) o utilizzo di giochi graficamente pesanti anche perché è senza ventola di raffreddamento.
Sono soddisfatto dell'acquisto e infatti ho già ordinato la versione da 14 pollici come mio secondo portatile

At first there were delivery problems (they brought an empty box without the goods). The request to Gearbest resulted in no result. I had a 240 MB unpacking video (full unpacking, where it was clear that instead of a laptop - a bundle of paper). Gearbest Demanded that I would send them a video in a letter, like - Did not say. Mail services allow you to forward only up to 25MB.
I posted it on a file-sharing server - Gearbest again demanded to SEND a video.
I posted it on Google and sent a link - I got a confirmation that everything was fixed, but in a dispute over an empty box, Gearbest said - We can not open this video. I requested confirmation and / or the text of the error (that would sort out and provide the video) - refused. GearBest's rating is 1.
With this video appealed to the delivery service and "Oh, Miracle!" For a couple of days the laptop was found and I was apologized.
Now about the laptop. Good, there are no problems in the work:
1. Immediately received many updates
2. Winds was activated independently, without problems.
3. Touch pad works well
4. 4th revision - there is a hatch for SSD
5. Autonomous work - excellent!
6. Screen - cool!
7. The sound is decent, but only for use if you watch movies - headphones and / or a wireless speaker.

It is impossible to find compatible equipment with this price. Aesthetically it is beautiful, with an elegant and robust finish that gives the sensation of being a team of higher range. The keys do not sink as in plastic laptops. The trackpad works perfectly, precisely and with a pleasant touch. I have had it for two days, so he has not been able to measure the meter a lot, but in the tests he has done so far (multiventana, some applications at the same time, etc.) have given more than acceptable results. In my case, for example, I use it to work with Google Docs. In that sense, if you have a lot of paper and have several windows open, you can see that the scroll is a little slower. Of course, it is a computer for internet browsing, video and not very intense tasks (texts, accounting, design and basic edition, etc.). It is not a team to play, nor for demanding tasks. But if you have clear function and you are looking for a team for that kind of tasks, it is perfect. I'm using it with the memory that comes from the factory and for the moment, it's like a shot. I suppose if the broad with an SSD, the taste will be even better. As for Windows, I did not have any activation problems, it was already activated and the system was updated without problems.

Suggestion

To get some negative point, I would say the keyboard, which is international (but if you are used to writing and do not need to look at the keyboard, it will not be a problem) and the battery cable, which is a bit short. But come on, they are minimal issues for me. By the way, it's version V4 (with a cap on the back for the SSD)
