I lost my No 3 original scalpel which I used all the time for all sorts of jobs. It was a pure delight to use. When I saw the Chinese equivalent at a third of the price I thought I would order one just to see what it was like.

The Chinese version is made of stainless steel, as with the original, but instead of a very accomplished smooth surface, it has a type of brushed finish and very basic grip lines scratched across it. Cr 3 is stamped into the handle to indicate it's model number.

The length ways brushed finish gives a pleasant appearance and does a good job of covering up some nasty casting irregularities, some along the edges and there is a pronounced roughness both sides in the middle where the thickness narrows.
The shape of the original is very sophisticated and carefully finished but the Chinese handle is rather crude in comparison. It seems to be stamped from a flat plate with a sudden narrowing to the rear, at the half way point. The blade holder is particularly crude compared to its well engineered counterpart, but blades can still be fitted and removed easily with pliers. Blades are interchangeable between the two models and seem to be just as sharp. Also, Chinese blades can be purchased very cheaply. I purchased 40 blades, with two handles for less than the price of an original handle!

In summary, these Chinese handles are finished rather crudely, but seem to work in an identical way. They seem to be practical and strong and their blades are the same. However, if you take pride the appearance of a tool above its performance, go for the original. If you like me, tend to loose things, get the copy, they are cheap as chips, but just as effective.

Fortunately, I later found my original, and now use it only in the house for model making. I use the Chinese copy as my workhorse, outside and in the garden shed, well worth buying!

Really impressive for the price! As many others have said, decent quality (not HD, but still totally ok), works with Android OS 4.1+.
Couple of notes here in case people are having trouble installing it, what you are looking for is the "Android app apk file", which is to be installed on your phone for this to work properly. In the package, you get a CD with a few files on it, the one you want is called, "CAMERA-AN97.apk_2.3.apk". This is the android app itself. You will want to drag this on to your phone via a file transfer (or email it to yourself) and then install it on the phone via file viewer (IE Astro File Manager). It will popup something that says you need to enable installation from unknown sources, that is perfectly ok, check the box to enable this, install the app, run it, and plug in the USB camera.
Once you have it running, app is fairly straightforward to use.
I did get a couple of crashes, BUT, the recording I was making at the time still took. So don't fret if it happens.

I purchased this product on the 27th of November in 2015. There are so much uses for this. I used it for plumbing, vehicle repairs, blockage etc. It is really multi-functional and the quality is great. I am writing this review after almost 3 years because this product is literally brand new after all that time. Great quality, price and usability. The IP67 rating and the flash is very handy as it allows for use in water, oil, grease and other liquids but it does require cleaning.

The length of the product is the main attraction, it can be placed into tiny places and hard to reach spaces, recently my friend had bough a second had vehicle & we needed to change the door lock, we tried and tried with no avail, until i realized i had the endoscope. Once it was connected it did the job seamlessly. We were done is 10 minutes thereafter.

it also has controls on the endoscope which enables the use to snap pictures while using the endoscope and it enables the user to control the brightness of the flash.


This is an awesome product which i recommend purchasing.

В принципе - неплохо работает, с учетом тех денег, которые я заплатил.
Разъем micro usb + переходник на usb A для подключения к ПК. На компе определяется как камера.
Яркость подсветки регулируется, правда диапазон не очень то и широкий.

Из ярких минусов - та же подсветка. При использовании с насадкой-зеркалом для "осмотра" вбок подсветка засвечивает всё отражение. Абсолютно ничего не видно.


In principle, it works well, taking into account the money I paid.

veľmi užitočná vec do domácnosti. Po zapojení do androidu funguje ako endoskop - dostane sa skoro všade. Na preskúmanie malých otvorov a tam kde sa nedá dostať rukou ale vidieť. Kamera je vodotesná a v balení je nástavec z magnetom, háčikom a malým zrkadlom. Na kábli je ovládač foto a intenzity svetla.


A very useful household thing. After engaging in android, it works like an endoscope - it gets almost everywhere. To explore small holes and where it can not get by the hand but to see. The camera is waterproof and comes with a magnet, hook and small mirror attachment. The cable is a photo driver and light intensity.

Très pratique pour regarder dans les endroits trop petit ou pour grossir une zone précise (faire une soudure très petite ou passer des cables dans une cloison cela permet de voir ce que l'on fait, il est équipé de led et d'une molette qui permet d'ajuster la luminosité.
Cette endoscope fonctionne parfaitement sur mon téléphone Honnor 8 j'ai juste du ajouter un adaptateur usb pour pouvoir le brancher car il est livré d'origine avec un embout mini usb, il fonctionne aussi sur PC (windows 10) avec le programme fournie dans windows 10 "camera"
je l'ai aussi testé dans des canalisation la caméra est étanche aucun problème.
Le rapport qualité prix est très bon merci Gearbest

Suggestion

seul petit reproche, le cable est un peu souple et lorsque que la caméra se heurte a quelque chose le cable a tendance a se tordre, un peu plus rigide aurait été mieux.
Mais cela reste un bonne Endoscope
