Place the thermometer under the tongue in the mouth, lean it to the left or right of the base of the tongue, close the mouth and press the thermometer with the base of the tongue. Hold the thermometer with your hand during the temperature measurement to prevent it from sliding in the mouth. Keep the mouth closed during the temperature measurement.
