Yeelight JIAOYUE Minimalist Iron E27 Pendant Light 200 - 220V

I have been looking for a lamp like this for months! Criteria: minimalistic design + E27 Socket, so the moment i saw this new yeelight - i had to order one, knowing the risk and all.
The lamp was delivered unexpectedly quickly and we had a chance to install it this weekend.

the quality of materials used and overall look on the chandelliers is beautuful, the metal thinkness is just right and the color coating has a fantastic look and feel - looks like it will last. The electric cord has a nylon sock around it - which adds to the overall quality-look

The assembly, on the other hand... leaves a lot to be desired. A lot...
the ground wire does not exist, 2 of the 3 chandelliers had mixed up the welding of the "blue" and "brown" wire, and the sockets for length adjustment are made of cheap plastic.

Too bad really... I was short before claiming a return with Gearbest - when we had an idea to use the IKEA Skellige system as the main electric assembly and use the chandelliers merely as suspension elements to that. You can get everything you need individually at the next ikea store for "not so much" money - or at least we perceived it a good investment to "fix" the problem.

looking back i think it turned out even greater than the off-the-shelf solution, in particular because the 1m long suspension allows for much more gracious / or flexible distribution of the chandellier units.

This approach has further 2 advantages: you are no longer dependant on the voltage per country
You take the best out of what this product has to offer and ensure conformance to in-country security standards, which this lamp alone would not fulfill

worthy to mention - i use it with Philips Hue lightbulbs - the lamp is great for creating atmospheric lighting. The included Yeelight bulbs are tiny and i dont like the default color - they dont look like remotely manageable kind, just normal bulbs with a very blue-tinted "neon" shade. The accessory fire-imitation lamp is a funny gimmick but does not seem very practical in regular use - it flickers too much for my taste - but feel to try it out.

the total assembly cost me in the end. ca 120 Euros - but even at that price - the outcome is worth it

it is difficult to photograph lighting - so i had to dim the lamps to a minimum to demonstrate play-of-color with a philps hue - i am sure it will work just as great with "managed" Yeelight lights (extra).

The off-the-shelf assembly quality is really a concern - please make sure to have someone familiar with electro installations review this first.

Стильная, минималистичная лампа от Xiaomi. Правда не "умная". Но это поправимо если доукомплектовать ее, например "умными" лампами. Высокое качество изготовления. Плафоны довольно увесистые, видимо из металла. 3 обычные светодиодные лампы и крепеж в комплекте. Доставка в центральную Россию где то месяц. Покупкой доволен, рекомендую.

отличный светильник, очень подходит для освещения территории под ним, использую над столом, плафоны металлические, тяжелые, возможность регулировать высоту плафона в зависимости от высоты потолков и высоты человека, брал со скидкой, очень доволен, не поддерживает wifibluetooth

I bought this light for my dining table. Have not mount it yet, but it's as expected.
3 bulbs are included. I thought, they would add 3 yeelight smart bulbs but there are 3 small Osram LED bulbs instead. They are also fine.

good quality & best design!
Easy to install best choise for a modern house
Feel like a luxury light
the only problem is the light....not are the Xiaomi yeelight but the osram "normal bulb not wifi."

The lamp is great, i really love the way it looks.
It has an elegant and simple design.
The lamp come with 3 OSRAM bulbs included. which supply 390 lm.

Did not like that cables are not strait as much as possible in the box and you see the result after you install it.
