FURA Portable S35VN Steel Blade No Lock Folding Knife

Firstly, the quality of this little gem of a knife is of a very high standard, the materials used in its construction, if the many reviews I've come across are to believed, is nothing short of fantastic at this price point! The blue of the titanium scales is very subtle and difficult to catch with a phone's camera but in the hand it's very nice. The s35vn blade came perfectly ground and shaving sharp out of the box (which is also very decent) so no fettling necessary. The ball-detent is very weak, strong enough to hold the blade in the closed position an to allow for a positive click and robust flick when opening but it will close at the slightest pressure placed on the spine, but that's par for the course with this system.

Overall I'm very impressed with this product and am seriously considering buying a whole bunch more!

I got this little knife to edc in the UK. It is small clips nicely on my trouser waist band, I wear it on the inside so just the clip is visible but behind my belt. This makes it very discrete to carry yet very accessible to grab and open one handed. Its a stout chunky blade which is handy for light use around a office or retail environment. It feels good in the hand but you must be careful as it has no lock and a very light detent so it can close on you if you do not pay attention. I have never had any accidents with it, and I have used it a lot. All in all a good edc for light use or a capable back up to a more traditional sized knife. I clip this on the inside of my trouser waistband and forget its there until I need to use it.

I bought this for giving my knives a quick touch up while in the field, but it will keep them good until you can get them to a real stone -LRB- which I am huge fan of -- recommend the Arkansas medium grit stone -RRB-, A huge plus is the `` spike'' for sharpening serated blades you find on many hunting knives -LRB- which you can't do on a stone -RRB-, Because it is small -LRB- by design -RRB- you have to be very careful when drawing your blade through

Effective little tool, Sharpening a serrated knife is a tedious job but this round tapered rod takes the drama out of the process, It's small enough to tuck neatly away in a drawer or tool box but the shape makes it easy for even large hands like mine to manage it while sharpening, The slots are a no-brainer for sharpening straight edged knives ; and the coarse slot allows you to reshape a worn or bad blade

I have several of their knives how ever this one in particular the handle is not ergonomic enough for how smooth and small is - for me at least - and I've cut myself a couple times trying to use it, Ended up giving it away with someone with smaller hands and bought another similarly sized knife with a more ergonomic grip, The quality of the knife itself - especially for the price - is impressive

Puts a razor edge on blades in just a couple of pulls through the ceramic V. I have tried to use the carbide V but it seems like if a blade is far enough gone to have to use the carbide side I would rather use a traditional diamond whetstone, I have not been able to get a good edge on really dull knives by using the carbide V. I have used the swing-out sharpener for serrated knives

It's a very good knife for the price, a little rough around the edges, So if your not a collector and want a good user at a good price and don't mind buying a Chinese product, this is a very nice knife for the price, The detent is strong but I like that, You get what you pay for and I recommend going with something with better fit and finish if you can afford it

Very nice sharpener for the money and small enough to fit into your pocket and not even notice it is there, I bough this sharpener at the same time as my new SOG Aegis EDC knife and i have used it a hand full of times so far to sharpen cheap knives i have laying around the house, For being a small and inexpensive sharpener it does a great job
