GANZO Firebird FB7601 - CF Bearing Axis Lock Folding Knife

I'll start off by saying I've already owned a knife like this, but it got lost a month back. Ordered a new one, this time with the ball bearings rather than the base model. VERY happy with it. It opens even faster than the base model, it looks sleek and fits in the hand well, and when it arrived it was at a good sharpness - not so sharp that it'll dull quickly, but sharp enough to cut things easily... and that's where my screw-up happened. Used the knife to open another thing I purchased, and was distracted and cut towards my left hand. Ended up slicing through the taped packaging and right into the joint of my left index finger... fairly deep cut, but it's clean, so good news for sharpness, aye?

HIGHLY recommend if you want a good quality stainless steel pocket knife. On my second one and it's one of my go-to knives for general usage.

Нож от Ganzo в очередной раз порадовал своим качеством исполнения.
Нож эстетически красив. Все детали выполнены на самом высоком уровне, не уступающем известным ножевым брендам. На рукояти все острые грани сточены мелкими фасочками, клинок по центру. Замок Axis Lock работает безупречно, ось скользит в своем пазу без задержек, уверенно фиксируя клинок в открытом и закрытом состоянии, что обычно не свойственно китайским ножам.
Клинок заточен на четверочку, бумагу режет, волосы на руке не бреет. Что в принципе является нормальным для edc ножа, при желании заточку можно и поправить.
Непонятно лишь, почему рукоятка сделана из полированного скользкого пластика??? Из мокрой руки или шерстяной перчатки на морозе он легко выскользнет при силовых работах.

I've only had this knife a short while (hours) and I'm pretty sure this will be my go-to knife when I'm heading out the door. the action is absolutely butter smooth and it opens with ease right out of the box.. No break-in period or adjusting needed. The liner lock engages nicely and there is no blade play whatsoever. It takes no more than the weight of the blade to close. No shaking to get it to close. Blade is perfectly centered as well.

It's hard to believe this is a $20 knife.
Buy this knife, you will NOT regret it!

First Ganzo knife in my collection and I have to say - it is great! The action is smooth, I could not make a difference between this knife and my Benchmades in term of action. The lock is a littler harder to push but that is easily fixable. It came really sharp out of the box and it holds and edge fairly well. I recommend this knife to everyone because of the price/quality ratio and the locking mechanism. I will definitely be adding more Ganzo knives to my collection.

Великолепный нож, идеальное качество. Отличная высоколегированная сталь с хорошей твёрдостью. Очень удобно сидит в руке, лёгкий - лайнеры облегчённые, клипса глубокой посадки, замок работает чётко, люфтов нет, сведение тонкое. Замечаний вообще нет. Я очень доволен. Рекомендую!

Perfect EDC size.
Nice useful blade shape
What makes this one special is that Ganzo has improved both the action of the blade (thanks to the ball bearings) and the axis lock that now can be operated on one side only.
Another big plus is the introduction of a deep carry pocket clip.
Hopefully, Ganzo keeps these improvements on their future models.

Suggestion

Unfortunately, mine had the blade off centered and I wasn't able to fix it (not typical from Ganzo)

A knife on bearings from a gunzo. The smoothness of the blade's progress increased by an order of magnitude. A deep-fitting clip allows you to more deeply lock the knife on your pocket. Anodized accessories have added attractiveness.
Певый нож на подшипниках от ганзо. Плавность хода клинка возросла на порядок. Клипса глубокой посадки позволяет глубже фиксировать нож на кармане. Анодированная фурнитура добавила привлекательности.

A clip might be anodized in color. Cutting the blade begs to be thinner.

Great , original design by Ganzo . Ball bearings make this SUPER FAST. The liners are milled out and the G-lock works nice. The combination of the CF laminate and deep riding clip make this a "Gentlemans knife". I personally would prefer a matte finish on the clip , to make it more discrete.
