    Mr.
    For the money the U807 is amazing. The 2.2 gram prop are identical in weight on a triple beam scale and they have no imperfections to offset using a thin sewing needle stuck through a zip tie to balance them. As Xjet noticed (in the extreme) with another brand of 5in props there is a consistent difference between the CW/CCW props. The 4 sets I got shows the “B" props are balanced within detection (hub and lateral) but the "A" props are a TINY bit off and heavy on the un-printed side of the props. I found a 5mm wide piece of very thin clear scotch tape added 5mm from the middle tapered end of the prop, 1 mm from each edge, balanced out all 4 "A" props exactly the same within detection. Do it once and you can just copy what you did on each “A” prop because they are so consistent in quality.
    Very impressed with the quality control in manufacturing this product.

    Everything worked and have yet to need to use the trims. Very impressed with performance in the wind and had to order one to see what all the fuss is about. Only took 2 weeks from placing order to arrive and USPS tracking called my cell with updates. Tested TX for 1 hour straight operation and found lights and FCB/RX use about 3.4 mA a min so about 34 mA in 10in flight. Canopy with screws weighs 4.2 grams and frame has bracing over the FCB center so no loss in support needed for flight removing it with minimal loss in crash protection, however the engineers did not waste the weight and it does add some support. But the prop protectors absorb so much energy it&nb
    Suggestion
    Not a major TX brand protocol to allow using high-end higher resolution TX with programing features. Be nice to be able to turn off lights to add a tad more flight time. Props need to be different colors for orientation/ white and black props disappear when spinning compared to orange and yellow/etc, will try Ritz dye on spare props as the props are so well balanced and paint/permanent marker will throw it off. Blinking rear light needs to be red for protecting your night vision and I'd rather have it on the front as well as the red lights too as red is brighter than blue so when I need lights after flying too far away and turn to come back I have brighter lights to come back with rather than going away. Better to be able to see it if you fly too far away by yawing it 180 degrees. Headless mode is not my thing but nice to have in case you do fly out of sight... if the range allows it, have not tested range yet as no wind to fly upwind at altitude and it's been over 100+ degrees F.

    One of the best quads
    This quad is fantastic and you should definitely get at least one of these!!!
    But first let's start with shipping. Gearbest did a great job as always. The package arrived within 14 days and had no damages. After it arrived, and the included battery was charging, I took a closer look to that sporty flyer. It looks like it flys; sporty und fantastic! The blue front props of the black one and the green tail LED make orientation quite easy. So you don't have to paint or add coloured tape to it like I did on my FY326 and compared to it the U807 is almost the same size.

    Right after the battery was fully charged I went out for the first flight. But first I quickly calibrated the gyros and the compass. That's what you should do always before your first flight or after a hard crash. The U807 was now ready to take off and this one is a hell of a quad! It's so sporty, maneuverable and precise. In highest rate and full forward pitch it laughs about wind and can turn on a diam. Besides it's sportiness it also hovers greatly stable that you can take your hands off the transmitter.

    I even did a range test and you can fly out of sight without any problems. In case you have a keychain camera like the 808 or something else this quad can lift them easily.

    This quad is one of me favourites and I definitely recommend to buy one of these if you like flying great quadcopters!
    Suggestion
    The U807 has now cons at all.

    NiHui U807 Awesome Acrobatic Flier
    Product: The quadcopter was tested working perfectly. The finishing of the product is of high quality. All the accessories are included in the package. The quad has got very good pitch angle and fast yaw rate that makes it a highly acrobatic flier. The LEDS are very bright on each arm making it a good night flier. Highly recommended for all quad enthusiasts who are into sporty flying. Feel free to check out my test flight on the quad.

    Packaging: Order was very well packed by GearBest. The packaging box arrived in very immaculate condition.

    Shipping: Order was processed and shipped out very quickly by GearBest. Arrived at my doorstep in just 8 working days. Well done GearBest!

    Pricing: This drone is one of the must haves for everyone who wishes to hone their skills into high level competitive sporty flying in the future. The pricing at GearBest for this quad is one of the best deal which is irresistable deal.

    Customer Service: Very good customer service. Responds to query very quickly.

    Overall impression: Extremely satisfied with the purchase. GearBest has once again convinced me that they are really the best online shopping place for all my needs. Please keep it up GearBest and well done!

    This Puppy Rocks!!
    There not much that hasn't been said about this Bad Boy!! I bought a couple of these to try out, and turned around and bought 2 more. Now the Greedy Bastridge that I am, bought 4 more as they popped up on sale. I love these little screamers, and fly mostly at night, and these are great night flyers!! And let me tell you about the range on these!!!!
    I was flying at night a couple of weeks ago, and flying way up high in big circles, when I stuck my foot in a sprinkler on the ground and bit it hard,,,lol I jumped up and started trying to find my quad, when I noticed the bright green rear light. At this point, the quad was a good 1/2 mile away, flying perfect, but I no longer was controlling her ;-{ I know by the time she dropped out the sky, she had to be a mile away??? And because of a million Christmas lights all thru the subdivision, chances of finding it again was slim and none. But damn, she looked beautiful flying back to the factory, which is what the headless mode was designed for!! But you'll already know that,,,lol

    It flew back to the factory???

    This is definitely one of the best LaTraxx Alias clones out there and for the price tag of 38 USD this was a bargain when I bought it.
    It flies exceptionally well both outdoors and indoors but it's definitely an outdoor flier due to its high speed and maneuverability.
    The bright LEDs make it easy to navigate it after sunset while not draining too much power from the battery itself.
    This thing is tough, it really is. It took several beatings from my peers when I passed the remote to them for a test flight and it still flies without any major problems which makes it an absolutely perfect drone for those just beginning this hobby.
    The quad is extremely quiet, very agile, and gets a few smiles from pedestrians when you're flying it in a park.
    Suggestion
    Mine came with a minor problem that after every other bump / crash, the drone turned off and on in a millisecond and I had to re-bind the transmitter to be able to fly it again. I thought it's a soldering issue so I've unscrewed the top of the hull but the wires were soldered well. Unable to determine the problem I though it might short-circuit itself accidentally after a bump so I've straightened out the wires leading from the main board to the battery and that seemed to solve the problem, at least for now.
    Another issue might be that the default transmitter is set to mode 2 and you can't switch to any other modes on it (1, 3 or 4). This makes you stick to the default setup where the left stick controls the elevation (up / down) and the yaw (left / right) and the right stick controls the pitch in every direction. Since I've always flown drones in mode 4 it's still hard for me to control the drone in tight situations.
    The flip button on my controller doesn't actually make the drone flip but wants to record a video,&n

    Great quad, possible trim drifting problems but over all good.
    1) Very durable and well crafted as advertised.
    2) Easy to work on (motors plug in to circuit board for easy changing).
    3) Excellent size (packaged with 808 camera and battery weighs right at 4.4 oz, half of the weight required for drone registration in the US) and that weight is (0.55 lbs = 8.8 oz) so regs not required to operate in US.
    4) Charges fairly fast (about 2 hrs).
    5) Flies fairly long (they say 10-12 mins, mine flies for about 8 mins). I added 2nd battery and it flies the same amout of time, still reasonable however.
    6) Excellent range as advertised.
    7) Extremely fun and my wife loves hers! As critical as this critique sounds, overall one of the best for the price I've seen.
    Suggestion
    1) Quirky gyro and calibration. Own 3 of them, and they all don't seem to hold trim very well, one of them so bad, I asked GB to send me another board which they charged me half for it which was strange but I agreed, they seem to be a good company. As of this review the board hasn't arrived yet but I expect it soon. Calibrating twice does help some, just seems quirky.
    2) Never held full calibration (must land for 3 seconds but they say this in instructions and on youtube).
    3) Annoying rear light (does mean something though, not on means headless mode.
    4) Rattles. Does have bushings unlike others and bearing are available.
    5) limited low battery warning (about 30 seconds lights flash but not that visible on bright sunny day).
    6) Would be great if it had an FPV option or kit to purchase for it.
    7) Battery fits almost too snug. Very tight going in and removing.

    Awesome mini quad
    I bought this because I could never get the Dromida Ominus of the same style to fly right. Out of the box the U807 is a great flyer. I made a mistake and flew it hard several times with my Heli-max 1200mah battery which lasts 14 minutes and my left rear motor went out. Luckily a motor from my wltoys v949 was the same size and gear, so I soldered it in and I was back in the air. I just ordered another U807 and extra 650mah batteries so that I can alternate between the two when I want to fly alot. By the way the stock motors are plug'n'play, so I ordered a set of wltoys v636 motors to see if they will plug'n'play with the U807 get yourself two of these and fly happy
    Suggestion
    love it

    NIHII TOYS U807 Quadcopter
    It's a really cool looking quadcopter with awesome LEDs great for night flying. Very easy to use even for beginners. Transmitter automatically binds to the quad copter when you turn it on, no stick pushing. It has three settings beginner intermediate and expert . It has very good 150 meter range for a quadecopter of this price and size. It has an internal compass for headless mode. In expert mode it will fly fast and maneuver quickly. Good build quality very tough little quad copter it can handle a lot of punishment from a young beginner like my Son. He loves it and I am glad I don't have to replace parts all the time, other than a couple of props.
    Suggestion
    The manual that comes with it is the worst translation ever. Just watch the videos Gearbest has for you. calibrating the magnetic compass can be tricky it may take a few times. Sometimes the magnetic compass loses its heading during a fight which makes the headless mode wackey.

    Great quadcopter for the money.
    Very stable once you calibrate the gyros. I thought it had a bad motor until I calibrated it. (Move both sticks to the bottom left and hold until it stops blinking) Very bright lights for night flying, the blinking green light is great for orientation at night.Packaged very secure and the box is great for transporting it in a backpack to fly up on a mountain. Motors and parts for repair are very reasonable. The magnetic compass works very well but you have to set it up and calibrate the compass also.( Can find instructions for doing the compass setup on youtube) Auto flips are rock solid.
    Suggestion
    The gears are a little noisy.

    Great toy grade quadcopter
    This is a very inexpensive toy grade quadcopters that is great to help you practice your navigation skills. I have owned two - both have been great till I took them out on a very windy day and the wind took them away. I miss them dearly, however at around $35 they are inexpensive and expendable.

    They can carry a 808 camera with no problem, and although they can lift (with a fresh fully charged battery) a mobous camera I do not recommend it since the mobus is way too heavy and you can burn out the motors.
    Suggestion
    In high wind they as well as most light toy grade quadcopters can be carried off.

FAQ for NIHUI TOYS U807 Headless Mode 2.4GHz RC Quadcopter 6 Axis Gyro 360 Degree Stumbling RTF UFO with Magnetic Compass

  • Why does one of the blades not spin?

    1. Check the tightness of the blades;

    2. Remove the blade that does not spin to see if the motor is working properly;

    3. If the motor does not work, check whether the motor gear is connected properly;

    4. Remove the body shell, check if the motor cable is connected to the mainboard appropriately.

  • How to bind the quadcopter and the transmitter?

    First turn on the quadcopter power switch, place it in a horizontal position, then turn on the transmitter. Push the left throttle lever to the highest position, and then pull it back to the lowest position. You will hear a clear "di, di" sound and the indicator light will stop flashing and just stay lit, meaning the frequency adjustment is completed and your quadcopter is ready to take off.
  • Why the indicator light of the quadcopter is flashing?

    1. The quadcopter is not binding to the transmitter correctly, please refer to the user manual to re-modulate the frequency;

    2. Battery power is insufficient, recharge the battery.

  • Why one of the blades spin slower than others?

    1. Check the tightness of the blades ;

    2. Adjust the trim key ;

    3. Re-modulate the frequency, the quadcopter must be put on a flat ground;

    4. Re-calibrate gyroscope.

  • How to distinguish the steering of a blade?

    Blades are usually marked with A, B or R. Diagonal direction blades have the same steering, adjacent blades have opposite steering.
  • How to judge the steering of a motor?

    1. Usually, motor with red and blue wires is usually a forward motor, while the reversed motor presents black and white wires. Diagonal direction motors have the same steering, adjacent motors have opposite steering.

    2. On the motor surface sometimes you can find CW or CCW. CW stands for forward motor, while CCW refers to reversed motor.

  • Why the transmitter has no reaction when operated?

    1. Check and make sure that the batteries are installed by the right polarity;

    2. Battery power is insufficient, please full charge the battery, or replace with a full charge battery.

  • Why the voltage of single battery cell is lower?

    Single battery cell voltage imbalance is a normal phenomenon. Large current discharge will usually lead to voltage difference. This may be caused by poor contact between battery and charger, and the customer should adopt balance charge mode to charge the battery.
  • Why even though all blades spin, the quadcopter still cannot flip / rotate / take off?

    1. Battery power is insufficient, recharge the battery;

    2. Check whether the blades are installed correctly.
