JJRC H31 Waterproof Drone

Il quadricottero è dotato di 5 led, 2 verdi + 2 rossi sulle braccia e un quinto frontale in testa. I led rossi indicano la testa del quadricottero.
Non molto visibili durante i voli diurni in pieno sole, ottimi per voli serali. Di giorno, per riconoscere la testa, risultano sufficienti le strisce rosse presenti sulle braccia anteriori.
Oltre alla modalità di volo normale è presente anche la modalità "Headless".
In volo è possibile selezionare tre gradi di "reattività": quella base è molto lenta, l'intermedia rende il volo più interessante e la massima fa inclinare tantissimo il quadricottero rendendolo veramente molto scattante.
Essendo molto leggero il quadricottero tende a guadagnare quota molto facilmente, inoltre non è possibile (almeno per quanto da me riscontrato) mantenerlo ad una determinata quota senza agire costantemente sullo stick della potenza.
Essendo molto leggero fatica parecchio quando c'è tanta aria, quindi vi sconsiglio di farlo volare con troppo vento.
La batteria ha una durata di circa 7/8 minuti di volo tranquillo (reattività base), mentre con un volo con reattività massima si scende sui 5-6 minuti. Ottimo come primo drone. Grande resistenza agli urti e ottima reattività in volo.
Il fatto che sia poco stabile da fermo e la necessità di avere una costante attenzione sulla potenza e la direzione lo rende un'ottima palestra per chi è all'inizio. Inoltre appena acquisita una certa dimistichezza con i comandi, diventa molto divertente farlo volare.

Consiglierei questo drone a chi si vuole avventurare nel mondo dell'aeromodellismo e non ha esperienza poiché, con questo articolo, può capire come si deve guidare realmente in manuale. Così facendo chiunque potrà imparare senza aver paura di rompere un oggetto costoso, questo è davvero indistruttibile!!! Ha un ottima autonomia di volo anche se io ho preferito il set con tre batterie per potermi divertire al massimo. Fa delle ottime virate e il suo motore è abbastanza potente nelle tre velocità. Ho riscontrato che quanto scritto in rete corrisponde al vero, ossia ha una bella velocità una ricca dotazione di bordo (arriva con paraeliche, eliche di ricambio, caricabatterie a spina usb, telecomando efficiente, una batteria inclusa col drone --- due in più sono opzionali e non costano nulla.....---- e addirittura un paio di occhiali da sole!!! :-) it's cool!!!!). Il drone vi assicuro che è veramente impermeabile, l'ho provato in una giornata piovosa ed è caduto più volte nelle pozzanghere senza colpo ferire e , come se non bastasse, qualora si rompesse (e non si rompe facilmente) ci sono tutti i ricambi disponibili che costano pochissimo. Spedizione lampo, l'ho ricevuto in meno di due settimane.
Se volessimo fare un paragone con altri droni simili? Semplice... questo funziona e non si rompe.. mentre gli altri no... se vi sembra poco...

Great little drone. Was able to mount a small camera on it and it carries it very well.(See video for more information) Flight time is short but extra batteries are available at a very reasonable price and easily changed. The drone itself is water resistant and is almost indestructible so breaking it shouldn't be a problem. Really like the controller that comes with it. It is not very well labeled but the display on it lets you know what mode you are in, how much power is left in the radio batteries, when you are taking video or pictures, and what speed you are in. For a toy grade drone I really like the remote. It has no kind of altitude hold but in this size and price range I wouldn't expect it. All in all a great little Quad. This would make a great Christmas gift for someone but order early as shipping can take up to a month, and you might want to get two because you are going to want to keep one for yourself.

Suggestion

Short battery life... Very light so it is blown around allot by the wind..

Firstly, the packaging that the quad came in, the instruction booklet and setting up for first use is all first class. Good looking quad. The battery is charged and ready straight away, so thumbs up for that.
I took it out for it´s maiden flight this morning and lost it within 30 seconds. lol It landed on the roof of my house and landed upside down preventing me from taking off again. Out came the ladders so all is ok now. I went to the local fields this time and had a great time. I think putting the quad onto the second setting is great for learning. The first setting is too slow and the third is too fast for me. The quad is deffo waterproof as I flew it in the drizzle this morning without any issues. So to sum up, great first quad for beginners and a good price. Might be worth ordering extra batteries and props at the same time, even though there was an extra set of props in the box.

Suggestion

I recommend purchasing extra batteries as they do not last very long (8 mins). I did however hit branches of a tree accidently and 2 of the props split. I did have the guards on as well. However, the quad still flew The lights on the quad are not very bright in the day light, but at night , they should be great.

Ho acquistato questo drone fidandomi delle recensioni e dei video su youtube ...nonostante il periodo di ferragosto...amazon prime consegna velicissima ...Dunque 5 minuti per montargli gli accessori ..il drone l ho affidato a mio figlio di 8 anni (ma ci gioco anche io ) .e ci gioca ininterrottamente da 10 gg circa ....ragazzi indistruttibile credetimi..sbatte da tutte le parti ..dopo un po riesci a pilotarlo discretamente...la batteria dura circa 7-10 minuti dipende dall intensità di volo,ma si ricarica in circa 40 minuti.
Consiglio di effettuare ad ogni accensione le due procedure di settaggio con il radiocomando (onde evitare che voli storto)prima di comunicazione e poi di calibrazione come descritte nel manuale non in italiano ...sono velocissime.
Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti quelli che vogliono cominciare spendendo poco per questo simpatico pratico e indistruttibile drone.

Very good drone for beginners. During 2 weeks I broke one flash light in front of the quad(but I repaired with soldering iron) and now I can't fly due to the broken shaft. But I have to admit that I was flying close to sand and I bough 4 batteries as well for long time flying. I was flying every day around two times by 5 batteries and this is approximately one hour of flying every day. And it's still alive I mean electronic parts. I forgot to write, but I crashed many times in iron tubes, trees, and it's ALIVE. About batteries be patient cause it is poor quality things for this price, one battery doesn't function well after storage 3 days with full charge, cause I don't have Ballance charger to put batteries into storage.
P.S I made some changes in quadcopter

Suggestion

I really recommend this drone for people who only start to fly, cause it is UNBREAKABLE. Buy some batteries as well for long flying time.

The JJRC H31 will take a beating and keep on going way better than my Syma x5sw did. The H31 is really durable and keeps going after a crash. I’ve bounced it off of walls, ceilings, trees and people and it keeps on going.

There are three speed modes which I call beginner, expert, and insane. The insane speed mode is hard to control, but that’s because the drone can move so fast and turn instantly. Watch for people and trees while in this mode.

It’s waterproof so you don’t have to fear it taking a dip in a lake or flying it in the rain, however it is too light to control in any medium to heavy winds.

I have 4 toy quadcopters and the H31 is my favorite.

Suggestion

Battery life is really short (3-4 minutes), but to remedy that purchase bigger batteries to get more airtime. I use 3.7v 720 mah batteries and get at least 8 minutes of flight time. You will have to Velcro the battery to the drones body because the original battery compartment is too small for larger batteries. Also purchase several batteries or you will have to wait an hour between flights due to charge times.

Absolutely great product. The price is great, durable, easy to fly. I am a beginner, had no issues getting it into air, very stable, throttle is very stable. I also purchased shy viper stunt drone before this one, as soon as I tried JJRC H31, I returned sky viper. I have been flying it inside apartment, had multiple crashes, no damage so far.
1) Cheap to buy
2) Very durable
3) Throttle is very stable
4) Waterproof
5) Can fly inside apartment
6) Extra battries are cheap.

Really fun drone to fly! Agile, light, fast and durable.
In mode 1 it's easy to fly, good for practice. Mode 2 is a lot more responsive, this thing really goes fast! In mode 3 it goes insane, not good for unexperienced flyers though. Make sure you fly this thing outdoors where there's plenty of room, indoors flying will result in some broken items.
It's easy to fit al larger battery, like a 600 mAh type. It won't fit in the battery holder, but you can use some double-sided velcro tape to stick the battery under the drone. It wil extend your flying time drastically. See picture.

Suggestion

Make sure to mount the propeller guards, they protect the gears and the propellers. Buy some spare batteries, the 400 mAh included battery doesn't last too long.
The landing skid is somewhat flimsy, and will break when landing the quad too hard. A spare skid is cheap though.
The bottom lights are too dim, you can barely see them in daytime.
