Il DJI Phantom 3 SE è l’ultimo modello della serie di successo “Phantom 3”, sorprendendo tutti gli addetti ai lavori ormai certi della prossima pensione per questa serie, la DJI ha deciso di non abbandonare questo modello anzi rilancia arricchendolo con interessanti features.
Le caratteristiche principali sono:
- Doppio GPS (+Glonass)
- Camera 4K (UHD: 4096 x 2160P; 2.7K: 2704 x 1520P; FHD: 1920 x 1080P; HD: 1280 x 720P)
- VPS (sistema di posizionamento ausiliario con sensori ultrasuoni e camera video)
- Streaming live fino a 4km (in FCC) (ma non solo)
- Batteria 4480mAh 15.2V 68Wh 4S LiPo con un’autonomia di 25 minuti

Il doppio GPS assicurerà un ottimo posizionamento in hoovering grazie all’integrazione del sistema GLONASS, il VPS contribuirà ulteriormente nel tenere una posizione stabile, volo sicuro anche a bassa quota e in situazioni indoor senza la copertura del GPS, la camera con risoluzione 4K inoltre vi regalerà filmati con una qualità quasi professionale!

l’aspetto estetico è pressoché invariato rispetto al modello Standard se non per alcuni particolari, uno su tutti è la presenza del sistema VPS posizionato sotto la pancia del drone subito dietro l’alloggiamento del gimbal. Il sistema VPS (vision system) utilizza due sensori ad’ultrasuoni e una piccola fotocamera per rilevare il suolo sottostante, in base ad esso grazie anche a un sofisticato algoritmo contribuirà nel mantenimento della posizione in hoovering e in tutte le situazioni di assenza GPS, il suo raggio d’azione è compreso tra 30 e 300 centimetri in altezza, attenzione però non farà anche da rilevamento ostacoli!

La stabilità in volo e il feeling con il controllo del mezzo sono ottimi, insomma è pur sempre un prodotto DJI, i comandi sono sempre stati puntuali e reattivi, il software di volo è stra collaudato e la presenza del doppio GPS si fa sentire, il Drone riesce a volare tranquillamente anche con un vento moderato.

Il focus su questo genere di droni si sposta principalmente sulla camera e sulla stabilità dei filmati, come potrete vedere in questo senso il DJI Phantom 3 SE non delude le aspettative, giudicate voi stessi il video che segue, sono delle semplici clip senza post produzione, tutti i settings sono stati lasciati su default e auto. La risoluzione è in 4K, se possibile vedetelo su schermo 4K, compressione Youtube a parte, a mio avviso il risultato è molto buono!

Visto il prezzo di mercato e le caratteristiche che offre viene spontaneo paragonare questo DJI Phantom 3 SE allo Xiaomi MI Drone 4K.
Iil DJI Phantom 3 SE “vince” il paragone per il semplice fatto che viene prodotto dalla DJI, leader mondiale indiscussa in questo campo, che riesce ad offrire un’assistenza e supporto purtroppo impossibili al momento per la FIMI,casa che produce il MI per conto della Xiaomi.

Why does one of the blades not spin?

1. Check the tightness of the blades;

2. Remove the blade that does not spin to see if the motor is working properly;

3. If the motor does not work, check whether the motor gear is connected properly;

4. Remove the body shell, check if the motor cable is connected to the mainboard appropriately.
How to bind the quadcopter and the transmitter?

First turn on the quadcopter power switch, place it in a horizontal position, then turn on the transmitter. Push the left throttle lever to the highest position, and then pull it back to the lowest position. You will hear a clear "di, di" sound and the indicator light will stop flashing and just stay lit, meaning the frequency adjustment is completed and your quadcopter is ready to take off.
Why the indicator light of the quadcopter is flashing?

1. The quadcopter is not binding to the transmitter correctly, please refer to the user manual to re-modulate the frequency;

2. Battery power is insufficient, recharge the battery.
Why one of the blades spin slower than others?

1. Check the tightness of the blades ;

2. Adjust the trim key ;

3. Re-modulate the frequency, the quadcopter must be put on a flat ground;

4. Re-calibrate gyroscope.
How to distinguish the steering of a blade?

Blades are usually marked with A, B or R. Diagonal direction blades have the same steering, adjacent blades have opposite steering.
How to judge the steering of a motor?

1. Usually, motor with red and blue wires is usually a forward motor, while the reversed motor presents black and white wires. Diagonal direction motors have the same steering, adjacent motors have opposite steering.

2. On the motor surface sometimes you can find CW or CCW. CW stands for forward motor, while CCW refers to reversed motor.
Why the transmitter has no reaction when operated?

1. Check and make sure that the batteries are installed by the right polarity;

2. Battery power is insufficient, please full charge the battery, or replace with a full charge battery.
Why the voltage of single battery cell is lower?

Single battery cell voltage imbalance is a normal phenomenon. Large current discharge will usually lead to voltage difference. This may be caused by poor contact between battery and charger, and the customer should adopt balance charge mode to charge the battery.
Why even though all blades spin, the quadcopter still cannot flip / rotate / take off?

1. Battery power is insufficient, recharge the battery;

2. Check whether the blades are installed correctly.
