A Stirling engine is a heat engine that operated by cyclic compression and expansion of air or other gas at different temperatures. It shows how a heat engine works, and it is perfect for DIY invention, classroom teaching, experimental study and more.

Main Features:
● Working Principle of Hot Air Stirling Engine
Simply use a small alcohol lamp to heat the cylinder and give the flywheel a gentle push. Then the piston will be moved by the expansion of air and the flywheel starts rotating at a fast speed.
● Working Principle of Low Temperature Stirling Engine
Put it on the cup which is full of hot water and give the flywheel a gentle push. As long as enough temperature differences exist, the engine keeps running itself.
● Stainless steel material and exquisite craftsmanship, heat-resistant and durable
● Suitable for DIY invention, science projects, physics or mechanics learning, etc.
● Great gift for family, friends and even yourself

    good
easy to set up and spins good. make sure to not tighten the tubes too much and get a flame that is big enough. It takes a lot of heat to spin

FAQ for Mini DIY Stirling Engine Model

  • Does the flywheel have to be manually started?

It can start on its own if the temperature difference is great enough, but it often needs to be given a gentle push to get it going.
  • Is it a quiet device?

    It makes a little noise.
  • Are my hands hot enough to get this run?

I do not think so. It still needs a heat resource or temperature difference to operate.
