Après avoir déballé la Mi Band 3 et l'avoir frappée sur mon poignet, j'ai tout de suite été frappée par sa beauté. Il présente une surface très lisse, incurvée et brillante, qui a une apparence et une sensation bien meilleures que celles du Mi Band 2. Il semble beaucoup plus cher et de qualité supérieure. Ne vous attendez pas à des protections d'écran décentes, car elles sont généralement inutiles avec le verre bombé. Je ne sais pas si c'est du verre résistant aux égratignures, mais le Mi Band 2 a toujours eu l'impression d'être en plastique, le 3 ressemble au vrai verre. Mon instinct me dit qu'il ne se rayera pas aussi facilement que sur l'écran de la Mi Band 2. La fonction de vibration n’est pas aussi forte qu’elle était sur le Mi Band 2, mais elle est tout aussi puissante.L’ÉCRAN L’écran est nettement plus lumineux que celui du Mi Band 2. Si je devais deviner, je dirais qu’il est environ 30- 50% plus lumineux que même un nouveau Mi Band 2. Certaines personnes disent que l'écran OLED du Mi Band 2 se dégradait et que le Mi Band 3 semblait seulement plus brillant que celui d'un ancien Mi Band 2. Je peux vous dire qu'il est nettement plus brillant que même un nouveau Mi Band 2. J’ai toujours eu du mal à lire l’écran lors d’une journée ensoleillée, mais le Mi Band 3 améliore beaucoup cela. Vous aurez tout de même besoin de couvrir un peu la lumière directe du soleil, mais c'est beaucoup mieux. LA SANGLE La sangle est plus ou moins la même chose, à part une très grande différence: le Mi Band 3 reste à sa place beaucoup plus sécurisé. Il est en fait difficile de le sortir pour le charger. C'est donc une autre grande amélioration. Autre chose: la Mi Band 2 avait le bracelet, la "capsule" et une fine couche de plastique. Cette couche était à l'intérieur de la sangle, où la capsule est attachée. Cette couche de plastique s'est détachée au bout d'un certain temps (c'est ce qui est arrivé à Mi Band 2). C'est à ce moment que tout a commencé à se décomposer lentement. Le Mi Band 3 n'a rien de tel. C'est la sangle et la capsule, rien d'autre. En raison du nouveau mécanisme de la sangle, le Mi Band 3 a été exceptionnellement renforcé pour rester plus longtemps en sécurité. FONCTIONNALITÉ DU BORD L’écran tactile fonctionne bien. Parfois, vous devez répéter un geste de balayage, probablement parce que la zone tactile est limitée à la zone d'écran et si vous commencez à balayer de l'extérieur de cette zone, cela ne fonctionne parfois pas. La plupart du temps, cependant. Ce n'est pas parfait à 100%, mais ça fonctionne plutôt bien.NOTIFICATIONS Les notifications fonctionnent bien, même en chinois, car elles sont affichées dans la langue (et les lettres) sur votre téléphone - tant qu'elles font partie du Alphabet anglais. Desde a primeira versão, que a Mi Band tem dominado o mercado com milhões de unidades vendidas, sendo que cada modelo lançado tem vindo a bater records de vendas. Hoje vamos analisar o mais recente modelo, a Xiaomi Mi Band 3.



O Xiaomi Mi Band 3 é uma pulseira inteligente, uma smartband, que tem como principal objetivo monitorizar o dia-a-dia, com claro destaque para o exercício físico. Mas se a primeira versão era praticamente só isso, os modelos seguintes começaram a oferecer novas funcionalidades, deixando de ser apenas uma band, para também ser um relógio e ter algumas funcionalidades de smartwatch.

A verdade é que a Mi Band 3 já é um sucesso e em apenas 17 dias vendeu mais de um milhão de unidades, o que demonstra que os consumidores acreditam na marca e, especificamente, neste produto. Se a Mi Band 2 veio revolucionar este segmento oferecendo funcionalidades de smartwatch a estes produtos, o Mi Band 3 não torna a smartband num relógio mais inteligente, mas o grande destaque é que agora consegue monitorizar ainda mais desportos.

Características

Em termos de características, a Xiaomi melhora bastante, sendo que o ecrã é onde verificamos as grandes melhorias. Deixamos de ter um ecrã “normal” e um botão, para termos um ecrã touchscreen e um botão touch. O ecrã é OLED monocromático e está maior, com 0,78 polegadas. A resolução é de 128 x 80 pixels. No entanto, o ecrã não tem muito brilho e num dia com muito sol, terá bastantes dificuldades em conseguir ver o que está no ecrã.

O tamanho da Mi Band 3 sofre poucas alterações, sendo que agora temos um ecrã maior num produto praticamente com o mesmo tamanho.

Fantastic Product. After unpacking the Mi Band 3 and slapping it on my wrist, I was immediately struck by how much better-looking it is. It has a very smooth, curved and glossy surface, which looks and feels a lot better than the Mi Band 2. It looks a lot more expensive and premium. Just don't expect decent screen protectors, because they're mostly useless on curved glass. I don't know if it's scratch resistant glass, but the Mi Band 2 always felt like plastic, the 3 feels like real glass. My gut tells me it won't scratch so damn easily like the Mi Band 2 screen. The vibration feature isn't as loud as it was on the Mi Band 2 but equally strong.THE SCREEN The screen is definitely brighter than the screen of the Mi Band 2. If I had to guess, I'd say it's about 30-50% brighter than even a new Mi Band 2. Some people say the OLED screen on the Mi Band 2 was degrading and the Mi Band 3 only looks brighter compared to an old Mi Band 2. I can tell you that it's noticeably brighter than even a new Mi Band 2. I always had trouble reading the screen on a bright day outside, but the Mi Band 3 improves on this a lot. You'll still need to cover it a bit in very bright, direct sunlight, but it's a lot better.THE STRAP The strap is more or less the same except for a very big difference: The Mi Band 3 stays in it's place a lot more secure. It's actually hard to get it out to charge it. So that is another big improvement. Another thing: The Mi Band 2 had the strap, the "capsule" and a thin plastic layer. This layer was on the inside of the strap, where the capsule is strapped in. This plastic layer actually got loose after some time (happened to my Mi Band 2). That's when the whole thing started slowly falling apart. The Mi Band 3 has no such thing. It's the strap and the capsule, nothing else. Because of the new strap mechanism, I really except the Mi Band 3 to stay secured a lot better, and longer.TOUCH FUNCTIONALITY The touchscreen works fine. Sometimes you have to repeat a swipe gesture, most likely because the touch area is limited to the screen area and if you start swiping from outside this area, it sometimes doesn't work. Most of the time it does, though. It's not 100% perfect, but works pretty well.NOTIFICATIONS Notifications work fine, even with Chinese language, because they're displayed in the language (and letters) they're displayed on your phone - as long as they're part of the English alphabet. It's a bit cumbersome to scroll through longer messages, but it works and it's definitely a big improvement upon the Mi Band 2. And you can even check them after some time, not only the second you get them

My 9 year old son asked for a fitness watch for Christmas. I'd originally thought about a Garmin Vivofit Jr. for him but he said he wanted something he could recharge, was water resistant and had some extra features. After looking around, I settled on the Mi Band 3 because of the features, the apps and the community support. I was afraid the band might be too big for my son's skinny wrists, but I was pleasantly surprised that the band not only fit him perfectly at it's smallest size, but it even fit me with room to get even bigger, and I'm a 43 year old man with fairly large wrists. Granted, the stock band didn't really look great on my wrist with its downward slopes, but many other bands are available that look better, including my favorite metal mesh magnetic band, which does fit me very well, but does not get small enough for my son. Before wrapping it for him for Christmas, I had to play with it myself, and I was so impressed, I ordered a second one for me as a cheap water resistant watch to take to the pool, gym and on vacation. Of course as soon as I got it, my 7 year old daughter claimed it, and it fits her perfectly as well. Consequently, I've ordered a third one for me, which I have no doubt my wife will claim. If she does, I'll order a fourth. My other reason for wanting one of my own is I get cash bonuses at work for tracking fitness, and I can take the device out of the band and simply put it in my pocket to track steps while I wear a more appropriate watch for work. It can connect to your Google Fit account and from there I use FitnessSyncer to send my data to another service that is compatible with the program my company uses.

Battery life has been great with my son only charging it once in the almost 2 weeks since Christmas, and only because he wanted to when it reached 50%. My daughter's was at 80% after 6 days and she's been constantly playing with the heart rate monitor. My only complaint is how hard it is to get out of the stock band and others of it's style. It's much easier to get out of the styles that have metal trims around the device. I fell like it will break but I do find it easier to push it down through the bottom of the band when removing it rather than trying to push it up through the top.

Over all, I highly recommend this device for kids through adults, as it fits a wide variety of wrist sizes and has an easy to use app. It's also way more full featured than the more expensive and simple FitBits with a far more full featured app as well as additional apps that provide even more customization over the features.
