Great Watch but limited functions yet!

This is a really good looking and well build (Apple style) smartwatch from Xiaomi! Premium quality, sharp and bright AMOLED display, very comfortable rotating wheel/button on the side! Snapdragon Wear 3100 chip and 1GB of ROM gives a smooth and snappy user experience, no lags or what so ever! Battery seems to hold for 2-3 days, depends on how often you use it, how many notifications you receive, if you have always on display or not and so one. I truly believe this a great option for Android user, however it's a Chinese version and some functions like NFC, eSIM will not work outside China! Meanwhile all meniu and settings are in English language, all pre-installed APP's are based on Chinese language at this moment.

Like it!

My brother mentioned wanting a smart watch/ tracker that primarily tracked his sleep. While searching online, I came across this option, that visually looked similar to other name brands but with a much better price tag. The shipping is fast with perfect package. The strap is really comfortable and lightweight. Easily synced to my phone, large color display, and tracked sleep automatically based off movement and heart rate changes. I am quite pleased with this product and I know he will love it as well

Great for the price!

I love this watch, especially when Im just in the house, it is very useful like I can find my phone whenever I misplaced it somewhere near because it is connected to phone. The alarm is really helpful and it wakes me up easier than just the sound of the alarm set on my phone. I bet you will be a really active person in a week! And it really amazes me. Having this watch makes me want to be more active than i am now. And it looks really nice too. Very quality product!

So far it has met all expectations

All the specifications have been meet and user friendly. Basic functions are well done like steps and sleep tracker, heart rate monitor, etc. I like the sleep tracker and it seems to match what actually happened. The tracking is pretty much accurate, I compare it against a treadmill and data matched. The battery seems to last as specified, of course it depends how you use it and how many messages you received per day.

Why is my Xiaomi watch GPS slow to locate?

The problem of slow positioning of Mi Watch GPS for the first time is mainly due to the different ways of starting GPS. GPS is cold start, warm start and hot start, the first start belongs to cold start.

Cold start of GPS generally occurs in the following situations

●The first use of smartwatch GPS function.

●Watch power depletion, shutdown and other reasons leading to the loss of satellite ephemeris.

●The displacement of the watch is more than 200 km when it is turned off.

Due to the cold start state, the mi watch GPS positioning system needs to download satellite ephemeris information. So there is a slow positioning of GPS, which is a normal phenomenon.
