AMAZFIT Stratos / Pace 2 Smartwatch Global Version ( Xiaomi Ecosystem Product )

The Amazfit Stratos 2 Smartwatch is the flagship in the Huami's Smart Watch Series and giving a tough competition to the Smart Watch makers today. It gives a very premium look after wearing and the ceramic glossy bezel around the watch makes it stand out in terms of looks and design. The carbon fibre covering the sides of the watch compliments it's design at the same time protecting the watch from overtime scratches.I am using it since a month and I will list out some pros & cons about the watch, I hope this helps you out in arriving at a decision...

Pros :-

1. The Watch looks very premium & classy and after I wear it, it feels that I am wearing a $500 watch.
2. The ceramic bezel and carbon fibre on the sides compliments the looks of the watch.
3. The Transflective display is a break through feature and Amazfit Stratos is the only watch to have this feature, the more light comes on the screen, the more bright the display looks and it also improves the battery life of the watch.
4. This is the international version of the watch so there is no problem of Chinese language and it perfectly supports English language.
5. The buttons are well clickable and covered with glossy coating which is nice.
6. It weighs only 70 gms and it's very light weighted, so you can wear it all day and you won't feel any issue.
7. Waterproof design helps me to use it even during work out and jogging and I love that very much.
8. The battery is ample and it charges fast also, within 1.5 hours it charges fully and gives me battery backup of 3 days if I use continuous GPS and heart rate along with all notifications and standby of 5 to 6 days if kept as it is.
9. In built storage is super amazing and I can upload songs on the watch itself and use my bluetooth headphones to hear it without the need to carry my smartphone and it is a must feature in all smart watches.
10. The CPU is in-house developed by Xiaomi and it gives ultra-long battery life and smooth performance, the 512 mb of ram and single core processor helps to run the watch very smoothly.
11. Compatible with both Android & iOS devices which is good.
12. Touch Screen is very responsive.
13. The app is packed with loads of features.
14. The heart rate tracker, step tracker, sleep and idle time tracker is very much accurate and helps me to analyse my fitness.
15. The push text and call notifications is an amazing feature and it notifies me via vibration even if my phone is inside my pocket in silent mode.
16. The watch faces looks damn cool and adds the beauty to the watch.

Cons :-

1. The silicon band can get damaged after continuous use, so get a spare one before.
2. While charging you need to press the watch a bit harder to fit on the charger and I don't like it personally.

Amazfit é principalmente um gadget para fitness. Por isso conta com uma série de sensores e funcionalidades voltadas ao rastreamento de atividades físicas. Graças a sua resistência de até 5 ATM, ela acompanha o usuário até mesmo em braçadas na piscina, tornado ela versátil para acompanhar desde corrida até natação. Só vai ficar de fora de atividades coletivas como vôlei e basquete por exemplo, pois não dá para usar um relógio nesses esportes. Nessas situações, se você colocá-lo no bolso, ao menos vai contar os passos.
O aparelho também conta com memória interna e GPS, então você será capaz de deixar seu celular em casa e ainda assim ter o seu trajeto salvo bem como vai dar para ouvir músicas em um fone bluetooth. Para armazenar suas faixas, há um total de 4GB de memória interna. Só não vai dar para atender ligações, já que não temos nesse modelo a conexão LTE, algo que até o momento tem ficado restrito aos modelos mais caros de smartwatches.

Você pode acionar manualmente para que um exercício seja monitorado, o que vai colocar em ação todos os sensores como GPS, batimentos cardíacos e de movimento. Se não fizer o início manual, o relógio ainda vai registrar sua atividade ao longo do dia contando passos dados e você também pode ligar o modo em que ele eventualmente checa seus batimentos cardíacos, algo que aumenta um pouco o consumo de bateria.
O Stratos também pode ser usado para registrar o sono do usuário, algo que ele faz de forma automática. Aqui não temos algo no nível de equipamentos dedicados a verificar a qualidade do sono: ele só usa o sensor de movimento para perceber se a pessoa está se mexendo muito ou não, e dá estimativas de tempo em sono profundo e leve, por exemplo. Em geral, ele passou bem perto de acertar os horários que realmente estava dormindo, mas se você fica fuçando no celular antes de dormir ou antes de levantar, ele pode confundir e acidentalmente aumentar o tempo de sono estimado.
Um dos grandes destaques é a grande quantidade de informações que podem ser exibidas na tela. Você pode ver conversas inteiras que se acumularam no WhastApp, deslizar a tela girando o pulso, tocando na tela ou usando os botões. Também dá pra ver a previsão do tempo, mas o ponto alto é a grande quantidade de informações exibidas na tela enquanto você faz o exercício. são múltiplos displays, e você pode customizar o que aparece em cada um. Depois de finalizar um treino dá pra ver no relógio as principais informações do relatório final, sem a necessidade de olhar no smartphone. Eu recomendo demais o produto!

Stavo monitorando questo smartwatch della Xiaomi perchè avevo letto delle ottime recensioni, per cui l'ho acquistato approfittando delle offerte del Single's Day (11 novembre) a poco più di 120€!
Un prezzo davvero fantastico per uno smartwatch con 512MB di RAM e 4GB di spazio per applicazioni/foto/musica ecc., e con una batteria dalla durata di circa 5gg.
Nella confezione, oltre allo smartwatch, è presente il caricabatterie USB con basetta

Premetto che provengo da uno smartband e in particolare il famosissimo Xiaomi Mi Band 2, il passaggio ad uno smartwatch non è stato per nulla traumatico dal punto di vista dell'ingombro/peso, anzi sono rimasto molto sorpreso della facilità con cui si porta al polso e del suo peso, che permette di utilizzarlo sia durante le proprie attività sportive che durante la notte.
Lo smartwatch presenta un quadrante rotondo molto bello da vedere e molti colleghi sono rimasti entusiasti dal suo aspetto e qualcuno si è immediatamente convinto a comprarlo.
Molto bella la possibilità di cambiare il quadrante, scaricandolo da diversi siti sul web dove si potranno trovare "watchfaces" (si chiamano così) che ricalcano i quadranti di famosi orologi, come Rolex, Omega, Tissot, ecc. Basterà scaricarli in formato .wzf, copiarli all'interno della cartella "WatchFaces" del proprio smartwatch e poi questi nuovi quadranti saranno selezionabili dallo smartwatch stesso o dalla sua app ufficiale Amazfit Watch.
Ho provato lo smartwatch anche durante alcune attività sportive (es: calcetto) e l'ho trovato affidabile e preciso. Per confrontarlo ho utilizzato il Mi Band 2 all'altro polso e non ho notato differenze per quanto riguarda la misurazione dei passi e dei battiti cardiaci.
Ho provato anche a copiare della musica all'interno dello smartwatch e poi a collegare lo smartwatch stesso ad una cassa bluetooth per ascoltare la musica copiata. Ho trovato questa funzionalità molto utile, soprattutto quando uno va a fare fitness/corsa e può evitare di portarsi dietro lo smartphone. Infatti si possono utilizzare lo smartwatch e delle cuffie bluetooth abbinate per sentire la musica durante la nostra attività fisica, senza doverci portare dietro lo smartphone, che figata!!!!

La batteria dura effettivamente 5 giorni (compresa 1 attività sportiva di circa 2 ore) e sono davvero soddisfatto sia dal punto di vista estetico (credo che sia tra i più belli in circolazione!) che dal punto di vista pratico e sportivo.
Lo consiglio vivamente a chi non vuole svenarsi e cerca uno smartwatch di circa 130€/140€, con una batteria di lunga durata.

This is the best watch I ever had. Its data is correct, heartbeat, sport data, sleepdata.. name it and it is ok.
Ok, it is not cheap, but it is worth every euro or dollar. I have it now for a week and I am still very exited with it.
It is very beautyfull in bright sunlite, the backlite helps in the dark. I have 80 different watch faces on it (big toys for big boys) and there are hundreds more. I tested it during mountainbiking, and it is absolutely WOW. nice GPS map, heartrate data, distance, speed, training load, It states how long you need to recover from it. WOW, it is a personal coach/trainer on my wrist.
It also has a compass, keeps sleepdata, very good app for on your smartphone, is 50m waterproof, everything is just super on this watch. it has a 5 day weather forecast if you sync it with your smartphone dayly, also alarm, but you should know it doesnt have an alarm sound, just a vibration on your wrist, but no sound. stopwatch and timer are also present. You can load some music tracks on your watch (using the app, or connecting the watch by USB to a pc) and when you use a bluetooth speaker or bluetooth earplugs, you can control the music with the watch, nice during sport activities, no messing around with you smartphone during a jog or bikeride.
If you sit down too long, it gives you a notice to get up and take a small walk. When you keep it connected through bluetooth with you phone, all messages are displayed on the screen, but the text is only ok for people with good eyes (I mean a little small, but readable with your glasses on for people with spectacles) also it states when someone calls you, message only, not able to call with it. there are no holes in it, so no sounds. (with holes you can not have the 50 m waterproof feature I guess) And if I have to choose between 50m waterproof or (alarm)sounds and phone sounds, i choose the 50m, so I dont care about the lack of sound....

So if you want a super nice watch with sportfunctions, nice extra options and good working funtions and correct data, this is the watch you want!

Ich habe bereits diverse Fitnesstracker zur Beobachtung meines Fitnessfortschrittes benutzt. Ich bin jemand, den es nicht hinreichend motiviert, zu wissen, dass an einem bestimmten Tag die Anzahl xy an Schritten absolviert habe. Vielmehr finde ich es ungemein hilfreich und motivierend, zu wissen. gestern habe ich „meinen“ - und zwar genau „meinen“ - 4-Kilometer-Lauf in 25 Minuten absolviert, und heute habe ich es in 24:30 Minuten geschafft. Für mich entscheidend ist also auch das Tracking der Strecke: wo war ich schnell, wo war ich langsam, wo gilt es sich zu verbessern und wie sieht es auch auf anderen Strecken aus.
Zwei Modelle von Samsung waren bei mir völlig ohne Nutzen, denn das GPS hat nie richtig funktioniert. Bei der teuren Gear S3 Frontier hat es drei-, viermal geklappt, dann wurden meine Routen nicht mehr aufgezeichnet.
Nun komme ich endlich zur Stratos 2: hier klappt es. Ich bin selig. Das! GPS! Funktioniert!
Nach dem ersten Anfassen war ich geschockt: die Uhr ist sehr leicht, was von der Haptik her suggeriert, dass die Uhr weniger wertig ist. Das täuscht allerdings. Die Verarbeitung ist tadellos. Und der große Vorteil der Uhr zu Uhren/Trackern mit viel Metall und Glas (S3 Frontier z. B.) ist, dass selbiges wahrscheinlich einfach auch mal den Empfang von Signalen jedweder Art erschwert.
Das Display ist gewöhnungsbedürftig und nachdem ich wie gesagt vorher bei Samsung war ist es gefühlt ein Rückschritt zu den schön bunt leuchteten Display namhafterer Hersteller. Aber auch hier steckt was dahinter. Durch das transreflexive Display wird viel Strom eingespart, sodass ernorme Akku-Laufzeiten möglich sind. Beispiel gestern bei mir: ich hatte die Uhr den ganzen Tag auf der Arbeit um, danach ein mit GPS getrackter Spaziergang von 6 Kilometern. Akku am Abend: 85 %. Toll.
Im Vergleich zur Uhr stinkt die Qualität des Armbandes leicht ab, weil es sich nicht so stabil anfühlt. Zum Beispiel ist die Dornschließe nicht aus Metall. Dort hätte ich die Verwendung von Metall durchaus positiv und vertrauenerweckend empfunden.

Fazit: Tolle Modi, sinnvolles Display, perfektes GPS-Tracking. Das schaffen bestimmt auch noch andere mit Ihren Uhren - aber sicher nicht zu dem Preis.
