AMAZFIT Pace Heart Rate Sports Smartwatch Global Version ( Xiaomi Ecosystem Product )

Hey guys. I got the watch almost a week before I wrote down this review to have enough time to use it and test everything that I needed. So let's get started.
First of all the package arrived in completely good condition without issues. The shipment wasn't the fastest but it arrived sooner than the last day mentioned when I put up the order.
Inside the package was the watch itself, along with the USB cable, the charging dock, and a small user manual.
Wanted to give my impressions about the watch so far:
•The watch is really stylish and comfortable. Fits my wrist perfectly (I was afraid it'd be slightly too large for me)
•Thanks to the large collection of available watch faces it may fit a sporty style along with a more strict business style with its classic analog watch faces.
•Transflective always-on display is a huge thumbs-up from me: Being able to always just look at the watch without pressing buttons or wrist movements is really convenient. And it saves up the battery a lot.
•Really appreciate the materials used for the watch. The ceramic bezel and Gorilla Glass give the premium look and feel really durable. The silicone bands are really comfortable and look great to me - feel no need to replace them.
•Love the smart notification system: Support of emojis and symbols and the ability to set up whatever app you want to get notifications from (from phone app).
•VERY GOOD battery life. With non-heavy use I could get 4-5 days of battery life (smart notifications on, just a short exercise per day). With heavy use (lots of exercises and heart rate monitoring) Still could easily get 1.5+ days of battery life.

Few things I wish were better:
•Wish the phone music control would have separate screen with better control (like music app) instead of being just under the notifications
•Wish the watch would show your traveled distance aside from the steps (outside of an activity)
•The phone app is really slow and has MANY THINGS they could improve on, the main issue being the speed, which obviously is the app's fault. Anything else runs super fast on my Pocophone (luckily it's not a hardware issue so they CAN work on it in the future too).

Overall thoughts: SUPER NICE deal to get this watch for 80$. Would easily recommend to a friend.
Honestly only other choice I had under 100$ was the Amazfit Bip, and only debate here is if you want the stylish, smooth, colorful look of Pace or much worse look of Bip (subjective opinion ofc) but much longer battery life.

Ho acquistato lo smartwatch in questione per diversi punti di forza:

1. Durata della batteria
2. La funzionalità ibrida "always on" che permette di avere sempre aggiornato l'orario ma di consumare praticamente nulla in fatto di autonomia
3. Il prezzo, decisamente onesto
4. La versatilità con cui si può facilmente sostituire la ROM installata con altre più personalizzate o aggiornate.

Per quanto riguarda il punto 1. davvero nulla da dire! La batteria ha un'autonomia di circa 5 giorni, a volte 6. Praticamente lo si ricarica un paio di volte a settimana anche in base all'utilizzo delle funzionalità sportwatch che si trovano sul dispositivo. L'autonomia elevata è grazie anche e soprattutto alla funzionalità "always on" ibrida . Infatti (2.) questa funzionalità permette di avere sempre la possibilità di leggere l'ora, che non è una cosa così scontata per gli smartwatch in commercio. Il display risulta quindi sempre accesso, anche se tecnicamente il trucco è evidente durante l'utilizzo del dispositivo. Infatti dopo un tot di secondi lo schermo "freeza" non mostrando più la lancetta dei secondi, e la qualità dell'immagine perde un pochino, anche se non è fastidioso. La scomparsa della lancetta dei secondi però, non compromette il funzionamento dello smartwatch, infatti continua poi a funzionare segnalando i minuti (quindi è pensabile un piccolo refresh automatico ogni minuto). In questo modo si ha un risparmio notevole di batteria e la comodità di avere sempre a disposizione l'orario.
Passando alla questione prezzo (3.) io l'ho pagato davvero poco, intorno ai 70 euro spedito e devo dire che li vale tutti. Ho avuto qualche piccolo problema con le dogane, in fatto di spedizione, e ho dovuto integrare un pagamento di circa 15 euro che gearbest mi ha successivamente rimborsato istantaneamente una volta aperto un ticket.
Infine l'ultimo punto, la versatilità (4.); inutile dire che da "smanettone" una volta arrivato il prodotto ho voluto subito personalizzarlo, soprattutto alla luce del fatto che è arrivato con installata una ROM cinese/inglese con qualche bug. Ho recuperato online guida e video per poter installare versioni in italiano della ROM e aggiornamenti e devo dire che è stato molto facile, alla portata quasi di tutti.

In sostanza un ottimo smartwatch che ad oggi mi ha dato solo soddisfazioni.

PORTUGUÊS : Ótimo smartwatch para quem tem o hábito de realizar esportes. Ele contem medidor de frequencia cardiaca, medidor de passos, acompanhamento de sono ,cronometro, Ferramentas para corrida , caminhada , bicicleta de ginásio ,trilha, subida de montanhas,esqui ,tenis e futebol. Tais ferramentas são usaveis devido ao fato do relógio ter acesso ao GPS.Upgrades de software são possiveis ao conectar smartphone e relogio a uma rede wifi , tendo a conexão de ambos via bluetooth. O relogio possui cerca de 4GB de amazenamento interno , que podemos usar tanto para colocar smartfaces ou músicas de sua preferencia. Enfim se você pensa em compra-lo , dificilmente se arrependerá.A bateria dura em média 2 a 3 dias em uso constante ,e aproximadamente de 5 a 7 dias ( caso o uso seja para ver as horas , ou quem sabe a previsão do clima) sendo assim uma boa duração antes de se tornar necessario o carregamento de enegia.

Great smartwatch for those who have a habit of playing sports. It contains heart rate meter, step meter, sleep monitoring, stopwatch, tools for jogging, hiking, gymnasium, trail, mountain climbing, skiing, tennis and football. Such tools are usable due to the fact that the watch has access to the GPS.Upgrades of software are possible when connecting smartphone and watch to a wifi network, having the connection of both via bluetooth. The clock has about 4GB of internal memory, which we can use either to place smartfaces or songs of your choice. Anyway if you think about buying it, you will hardly regret it.
The battery lasts on average 2 to 3 days in constant use, and approximately 5 to 7 days (if the use is to see the hours, or who knows the weather forecast) thus being a good duration before it becomes necessary to load of enegia.

I purchased this smartwatch because it’s feature list fits my needs almost completely, and in this price range I found this watch the best choice. I wanted a running companion, with great battery life. Other more expensive smartwatches may have more functionality, but I find most of them unnecessary.

What I like:
The watch have a great sporty look, and a nice built quality.
The transflective display is always-on, and this saves battery life
Music playing capabilities and built in gps let you leave your phone at home
With minimal use i could reach up to 7 days with one charge, with a simple analog watchface. Off course with normal use and with activity tracking it goes down significantly.
The 22mm straps are easy to replace with one you like.
The notifications supports special characters, and emojis too

What could be better:
The system on the watch is a little bit laggy sometimes
The daily overview does not show daily distance, just steps and floors
A fitness activity, or a general exercise option would be great, but you can work it around by turning the continuous heart rate monitoring on.
The smart phone app is not really good. The MI Fit app works and looks way better.

All in all with the current price tag this watch is the best deal you can get, if you want a great running smartwatch.
