Chuwi Hi12 Tablet PC

First impressions. Just got my Chuwi a couple of days ago. I ordered the whole package, Tablet, keyboard, extra mem card, pen and sleeve. I also got an extra 128GB USB3 Samsung Thumbdrive (for my Dropbox) and USB mouse. Before I ordered I've looked at a lot of Youtubes and 9 out of 10 were enthusiastic about this product.
Only ONE stated that the Chuwi screen is quite big for the ATOM processor. I'm installing my Office 365 suite now so I'll let you know later how it works with standard office stuff.
I've mainly bought it for portablility, customer presentations (powerpoint and internet) and ereading. Next to my normal IT assets I'm coming from iPad and their iBooks ereader is the best. Their office suite is good too, and conversion to/from MS Office is OKAY, but you lose any animations or other slick stuff you had added to your powerpoint. So I was looking for a Windows 10 tablet, preferably 2-in-1/hybrid. Per chance I happened upon an enthusiastic review of the Chuwi on a UK site.

Unboxing: everything works out of the box. You can start Android or Win10. Android is cool, but I'll mainly be using it with Win10/Office.

Tablet/Screen: is awesome. Sturdy, bright, responsive, big
Pen: haven't really used it yet
Keyboard: Sturdy, nice looking. A little bit of a flimsy feel to my taste but than OKAY for $40. And what's more important, it does it's job.
The connection (magnet) between keyboard and tablet/screen works quite well. For the moment I keep the keyboard on my desk and just take out the tablet if I go to bed or have some leisure time (ereading). That works brilliant.

Performance: some reviews told to be careful not to open too much stuff at once, even taking care of the number of tabs you open in your browser. I've not really started using it professionally but opening 10-15 tabs in your browser doesn't affect performance in my opinion.
Browsing your computer for files takes a little bit longer than with a 'normal' laptop or desktop, - sometimes Win10 takes a little time 'thinking' before it populates a directory - but it's not irritating and more than good enough.
The touch screen is really nice and responsive.

Look and feel: The gunmetal gray is really chic, it feels very sturdy. Chuwi used metal parts to give it more strength and if I compare the tablet part to my iPad it feels just as high quality. If you use it as a laptop: it's good, but the total comes around 1.5 kg, so you'll want a carrying case or something. I didn't weigh the iPad and the tablet but it feels around the same weight when you're carrying it around.

All in all I'm very impressed, it looks, feels and acts like a premium laptop. My guess is that the Atom processor could be stressed when I start using office extensively and with that I mean the more demanding powerpoints. I'm sure Word and Excel will perform very good. But I'll get back to you on that.

Al sacarlo de la caja lo primero que me sorprendió fue su aspecto de Tablet Premium y su tacto que nada tiene que envidiar a productos de grandes fabricantes mucho más caros. Al encenderlo, lo primero que me llamó la atención fue la calidad de su pantalla, su buen rendimiento general, el poco calor generado y la fluidez con la que se movían tanto Windows 10 como Android.

Es absolutamente perfecto para trabajar con él, su elevada resolución de pantalla da un gran área de trabajo, es ligero y la batería con brillo al medio da al menos para 5 horas y seguro que muchas más con brillo bajo, a parte de que la carga por microUSB da la posibilidad de recurrir a baterías externas.

Además pude confirmar que las especificaciones del HDMI que figuran en la web se quedan cortas, no soporta solamente 1080p, he llegado a mostrar 4k a 24Hz con mi cable HDMI a la vez que simultáneamente por Miracast emitía una señal hasta 2k, lo que me permite trabajar en modo multimonitor con hasta 3 pantallas de alta resolución.

Por último mencionar que es bastante ligero para el tamaño que posee.

La gráfica integrada y la elevada resolución de pantalla hace que no se pueda jugar a videojuegos o estos no vayan muy fluidos.

mi è arrivato Chuwi HI12 modello con doppio SO Win10 + Android (io avevo ordinato solo Win10)
a me' android NON interessava più di tanto ma vabbe' adesso c'è e lo tengo con doppio SO
a parte il molto lungo tempo di attesa !!!
il Chuwi Hi12 Tablet PC è veramente un gran bel Tablet PC
schermo molto molto bello !
è molto reattivo !
12" misura ottima !
è 1 gg. che lo sto sistemando e non ho riscontrato problematiche
sono entrato un po' anche nella parte android non è male per alcuni utilizzi può essere interessante
ho il confronto diretto con il mio Surface3 ed il Chuwi Hi12 per ora mantiene bene molto bene il confronto
da poco ho anche ordinato la tastiera per il mio Chuwi Hi12 penso che sia giusto averla..!!

Очень интересный планшет. Качество экрана на высоте - цвета сочные и яркие, без уходов в смежные оттенки.
Двойная система загрузки (андроид и виндоус 10) значительно расширяет сферу применения - можно и поработать (виндоус) и замечательно поиграть (андроид), хотя производительности хватает и на достаточно хорошие игры и под вин10. Металлическая задняя крышка работает как дополнительное теплораспределительное устройство, что очень положительно сказывается на работе планшета (не перегревается и процессор не уходит в троттинг). Тянет достаточно спокойно как офисные приложения так и софт обработки фото (Фотошоп) и видео (Эдиус).

Рад покупке, тем кому нужна мобильная замена стационарного ПК вполне подойдет.
