MECOOL M8S Plus DVB - T2 / T TV Box

The device is very limited in internal memory (only 8GB). To be able to use it with programs like Quasar you need to configure a USB device as internal storage.
First problem: android settings is hidden. It is only possible to access it using the pre-installed kodi (renamed as TV center) and execute (programs -> apps android -> settings)
The connectors are too close together, not all usb devices are recommended, I needed to use a SanDisk Cruzer Fit (very small) because I could not fit others without hitting the cable av.
The application launcher has a customizable part below and a static part that can not be changed. By configuring the usb device as internal and moving the applications, youtube and the market stop working from the static launcher, being only accessible through the configurable launcher.

Forget to use an external hard drive without external power. A single usb has no power to power it.

Solved these problems, it is a good player with Kodi + quasar that I recommend, but it requires work.

I bought this because of the low price and figured I could not lose much, it came with an old version of Android and an old version of Kodi, using Google Play I was able to uninstall the old version of Kodi and install a new version, the instructions that come with it are pretty much worthless, i have ordered another much more powerful box to replace this one, this is a low priced box that does work, they don't cost much and really make it much easier to work the box

I tried a couple of digital media players but the video was jittery and I had to send them back, this Android box has excellent video, i know it can do many things by installing more apps so I'll be playing around with it, the downside is the remote has very few buttons and is missing key video play buttons, the wireless keyboard works ok, the keyboard is rechargeable but doesn't seem to hold much charge, overall I'm happy with what I got for the price

За свою цену отличный девайс , двб каналы работают на отлично с дециметровой антенной тв фул хд не тупит
Перевод меню немного кривой) но надеюсь с прошивками поправят из проблемных моментов
Это нагрев приставки если верить программа прогревается до 70-80 градусов
Как не страно нехватки оперативки пока не почувствовал а в приставки Ее все 1 гиг

A little on the pricey side if you're just looking for a set-top box, game streaming is seamless with no noticeable lag I didn't test it but the screens seem to be in synch so no issues from me lol, you're looking for a set-top box and want more than roku has to offer but dont want to go the route of a fire TV

I had an issue on the device that the wifi gets disabled each day until I restart the box, after my initial review their customer service dept reached out to me and they have tried hard to make me satisfied on the purchase, other than the issue I had on wifi I do like the other features of the tv box

I have been looking for a wall plate that combined the low voltage face plate with the high voltage wall plate for weeks, power and Coaxial cables to a flat screen TV that is on the wall, is that I can easily remove the entire box when I want to run new cables or switch out a keystone outlet

The TV box is small that save me a lot of space and very easy to setup with TV just by connecting the HDMI cable with my TV and follow the instructions to enter my WiFi info then everything is ready to watch, the interface and remote are user friendly ; it is easy for kids or elders

This TV Box is much better than my old one, look at the friendly interface, well-designed human-computer interaction and fast stream of videos and films ; they are all greater than my old device, it will be a big plus if there are more pre-installed games with the box itself

I was skeptical to buy this box due to lack of reviews, the response time is much better than some other boxes out there due to the increased RAM maybe newer Android version, apps are easy to install, would be the perfect product if that was included
