This really is a great bit of kit - with some provisos. Anyway, the first impression is that this is a very well made and quite heavy bit of kit. Unlike some low-end stuff, this actually feels like it might work.
Cleaning performance is decent. It's not going to match that of a good household vacuum but it is surprisingly good. Because you can set it up to roam each day a bit like a robot garden lawnmower over time it covers all the ground many times so eventually everything will get picked up. Most of my house is hard flooring with some quite thick rugs around and this unit seems to have no issue transiting from one surface to another cleaning as it goes.
One thing my wife really did like is that this happily runs under beds and sofas and cleans areas not normally done. Overall this is a good robot vacuum that helps you but won't take over the vacuuming chores totally.

I have dabbled in robotic vacuum cleaners quite a few years ago, compared with various products, I think this little robot has really good value.
The best thing about this unit is the mapping. Once the clean is in progress (or the robot is driven around using the phone remote app) the unit starts to map the room and builds the picture of the environment. Once the walls are mapped, the unit will drive the outer edge of the area which defines the overall map of the room. After knowing the exterior has been cleaned, it will criss-cross the room to clean the whole area and leave no section that hasn't had a pass.
I don't really have a direct comparison with another robot but it passes the visual test. It can auto-switch to high power vacuum for carpets. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the cleaning.
Overall: It's great. Super impressed and a real time saver.

I have had a little time to see how this vacuum performs in a number of situations.
First, getting started was not difficult. I just had to pay attention to the instruction booklet and the Mi Home app while it was being connected to the network. It took me about 7 minutes all told.
Second, updating the vacuum's firmware was easy and flawless.
Third, the app is very well done. I say that as someone who used to be a programmer. It has a lot of features, and in fact, has almost every feature I could think of or want.
Zone cleaning allows you to set up multiple zones where it should clean and make up to three passes, all during the same cleaning. So you can have it clean the bathroom rug, the floor next to your bed, and the kitchen, for example, and do so 1, 2 or 3 times in a row.
I also was very surprised to see how much she picked up during today's full cleaning.

This is my first robot vacuum cleaner. I have only had this product for a day and let me tell you..... it’s amazing!!! I’m completely satisfied with it, worth every penny.
It maps out your home or the room that it is cleaning, it even returns to its home base once it’s done or when the battery is low it’s pretty amazing watching it return to its base on its own. And I'm most impressed by how quiet it is. It picks up all the bits and pieces of dirt from the carpet and sodden floor.

Amazing product. It cleans the house better than expected even on normal power mode. Amazing navigation system makes it a breeze and fast to do so. Blocked regions are helpful to avoid pet dishes and other areas you don't want it to go. About the mop system it does a good job at maintaining the floor clean , just don't expect it to properly wash and remove deep dry stains. i Give it a 5 out of 5 for the quality price.
