Original XiaoMi Mi WiFi Amplifier English Version

Again for a Xiaomi product, the styling and looks are superb. Lovely looking product. 5 Stars
Ease of use is simply amazing. Just stick the Amplifier into the USB port of the Xiaomi Router, I have the "Original Chinese Version Xiaomi Mi WiFi Router 3". Withing seconds the amber light begins to blink, meaning the two devices are shaking hands, then the blue light comes on and the pairing is done. Then take the Amplifier to a place where you need it and hook it up to a battery bank or a wall charger, and that's all to it. You can also use the Mi Router App to do the paring and it's equally easy. 5 Stars.
Testing the coverage amplification via the Wifi Analyzer App, it just spreads the signals gig time. 5 Stars.
Build quality: Well there's nothing to complain about by any means. It just feels a bit delicate, so handle with care and try not to drop it! 4 Stars.

The product is excellent. It does exactly what is promises. Following are some of the pros i have identified:

+ Easy installation through Mi Home app. You just connect it to a USB charger or power bank and the setup takes only just a minute.
+ After installation it creates a new WiFi connection with similar name automatically. Example if the name of your home wifi is MiHomeWiFi then the new will have MiHomeWiFi_Plus. You can easily connect to this new WiFi with the same password.
+ I don't understand how it works but after placing the device in a room where the connection speed was really bad i had resolved speed issues. I can even stream full HD movies... i am impressed.
+ You can unplug and plug the device at any other room and in a few seconds you are ready.
+ Really cheap related with what it offers.

Suggestion

I have found no negatives for this product. Highly suggested.

I used some points and bought it when it was on sale, so I got it extremely cheaply.
Works perfectly to extend WiFi into the dead-spots in my house.
When going through the extended network, the ping does not increase terribly much. On mine, it went from around 12->13. In comparison with a £10 netgear one I recently tested which doubled the ping. I'm really impressed.
Decent throughput too, and perfectly good to watch movies through.
Great build quality and aesthetically lovely - reminiscent of old iPod shuffle design.
Appears to only use around 0.13A (about 0.68 Watts) at idle and 0.19A (about 0.99 Watts) with one connection running a speedtest.net session, so surprisingly low power consumption.

Suggestion

You have to register with Xiaomi app (once you find which version of the app you should use, as the current app-store one is not it).
Setting up the app can be a little bit fraught, because there is lots of Chinese localisation there - but it's not insurmountable.
I have no complaints about this little gadget whatsoever. It's lovely!

К своему роутеру от Xiaomi решил приобрести усилитель сигнала, так как на участке есть еще и второй дом, где в некоторых комнатах сигнал либо слаб, либо не ловит. Поставил усилок в коридоре, настроил при помощи приложения Xiaomi MiHome. Результат - все дома на участке покрыты интернетом. Замечу, что скорость дополнительной сети, создаваемой усилителем (повторителем) в два раза меньше). Магазин продает эту вещицу по очень низкой цене, да и доставка на сегодня стала очень быстрая - курьерской службой в Краснодарский край (Россия) за две недели.

es un amplificador de wifi muy potente ademas con la sencilles que tiene, ademas se puede conectar en cualquier puerto usb puede ser cargador telivisores dvd radio al router en power bamk realmente se puede conectar en cualquier lugar.
para comfigurar solo hay que descargarse una aplicacion llamada mi HOME desde de la tienda de xiaomi, es muy sencillo comfigurar como repetidor de wifi, ademas tiene un buen alcanse y una buena calidad.
tiene un tamaño pequeño que lo pudes llevar a cualquier lado sin molestias.
el amplificador va muy bien cumple lo que promete, tiene consumo de energia bajo.

a mi me costado iniciar sesion en la aplicacion mi HOME de xiaomi despues de de dos dias de intento lo logre inicia sesion y configure sin problemas.
