Router udało się kupić w bardzo okazyjnej cenie to jest największa zaleta.Bardzo wydajny.
USB 3.0 w końcu pracuje z pełną prędkością. Dużo opcji konfiguracyjnych.Zabezpieczenie sieciowe AiProtection napędzanym przez Micro Trend. To taki trochę mercedes wśród routerów.Pierwsza konfiguracja po chińsku ale przydaje się google translator w komórce.
English:
The router was able to buy at a very bargain price, this is the biggest advantage. Very efficient.
USB 3.0 finally works at full speed. A lot of configuration options. AiProtection network security powered by Micro Trend. It's a bit of a Mercedes among routers. First configuration in Chinese but it's useful to google a translator in a cell.

Best router out there

If you are looking after the best dual channel router, this is the best one. By powered very fast dual core arm cpu, this beast can do everything you throw in it. Its only is in competition with much more expensive ASUS sister, Gt5300.

Pros:
Very fast industry leading router Soc
Cpu with builtin crypto hardware engine
Powerful antenna design
Gaming gimmicks
Built in OpenVPN server/client

Great router

Very good and stable router. It has replaced our 6 year old RT-AC66U. Even though you will not really notice any real life diffrences, this router has a lot of features and security features that are good to have. Also MU-MIMO and USB 3.0 is good to have.
Great looking design, but have in mind that this one is made for upright placement. Its very tall, and no wall mount.

Suggestion

China/US power adapter. Would have been nice if it was an EU-adapter.

Szybki procesor, doskonały zasięg.
Łatwy w konfiguracji, posiada polskie menu choć po wyjęciu z pudełka i resecie uruchamia się w języku chińskim.
Po podpięciu dysku mamy małe centrum multimedialne (torrent + DLNA)
Po wgraniu alternatywnego oprogramowania Asuswrt-Merlin zyskujemy kilka dodatkowych opcji jak np. połączenie przez TOR czy dodatkowe opcje diagnostyczne i konfiguracyjne.

Next-gen home router

Fantastic coverage, speeds and stability. Great Asus-WRT firmware. Robust security and monitoring functionality. Nice external looks. Overall - a great product, which I highly recommend you get from GearBest at a very reasonable price.

Suggestion

Minor teething-bugs in the firmware. I've experienced bigger ones with previous routers.
The power brick is US format, but GearBest provides a free converter.

What is the input voltage of ASUS RT - AC86U router?

AC: 100V - 240V (50 - 60Hz).
Does it support upgrading the firmware?

Yes, it does.
How to restore the system to its default settings?

Go to Administration > Restore / Save / Upload Setting, and click Restore.
The firmware upgrade failed, what can i do?

Launch the rescue mode and run the Firmware Restoration utility.
Why the internet is not accessible?

1. Check if your router can connect to your ISP’s WAN IP address. To do this, launch the web GUI and go to General> Network Map, and check the internet status;

2. If your router cannot connect to your ISP’s WAN IP address, try restarting your network ;

3. The device has been blocked via the Parental Control function. Go to General > Parental Control and see if the device is in the list. If the device is listed under Client Name, remove the device using the Delete button or adjust the Time Management Settings;

4. If there is still no Internet access, try to reboot your computer and verify the network’s IP address and gateway address;

5. Check the status indicators on the ADSL modem and the wireless router. If the WAN LED on the wireless router is not ON, check if all cables are plugged properly.
You forgot the SSID (network name) or network password?

1. Setup a new SSID and encryption key via a wired connection (Ethernet cable). Launch the web GUI, go to Network Map, click the router icon, enter a new SSID and encryption key, and then click Apply;

2. Reset your router to the default settings. Launch the web GUI, go to Administration > Restore/Save/Upload Setting, and click Restore. The default login account and password are both “admin”.
Why the WiFi signal is often disconnected?

1. Please make sure the firmware of router is the latest one;

2. You can swtich to control channels with less interference;

3. Please make sure no disturbances around router which could impact wireless signals;

4. Please make sure no resistance around router which could impact wireless signals;

5. Please try to place your router at other location.
WiFi LED light is not on, what can i do?

1. Please check if you turn on the WiFi switch of router;

2. Check if you enabled the Radio function on setting page;

3. Please make sure the router firmware is the latest one;

4. Restore router to default setting.
How to restore router to default setting?

There is a reset button at the back of router. When device is energized, press Reset button (around 5 secs) until Power LED start flashing then release reset button.
Why can't I enter the setting page?

1. Set up your wireless router via wired connection;

2. Please make sure your adapter is set to obtain IP automatically;

3. Please confirm web browser did not set up Proxy;

4. Try to use Device Discovery to find your wireless router Desktop：Start>>All Programs>> ASUS Utility >>Model name >> Device Discovery;

5. Restore router to default setting then try again to open setting page.
