Introduction
The Redmi Note 3 is a thoughtfully targeted device with a premium metal build, flagship-grade specs, and an iconic MIUI launcher. The third device of the series upgrades design of the Redmi Note 2 just three months after its premiere, while keeping the same specs, but improving the security with a fingerprint scanner.

Indeed the upgrades are not that many - a metal shell, a bigger battery, new dual-LED flash, and biometric security. But are those enough to justify a new device?

Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 hit the shelves in August 2015 and the dust from this launch didn't even had a chance of settling before the Redmi Note 3 got official.

It's an unexpected product strategy and we have no possible explanation other than the possibility that the two phones will be offered on different markets altogether.

Or perhaps we should be looking at the Redmi Note 3 as the Pro version of the Redmi Note 2 (or Prime as Xiaomi calls those) - it costs a few bucks more and improves on the usability. The metal shell boosts the aesthetics and handling, the fingerprint reader unlocks the screen faster than a PIN number, while the dual-LED dual-tone flash may help for a better white balance when taking flash photos. And there is the bigger battery to keep the phone running for longer.

The 5.5" 1080p screen seems as great as before, the snappy Helio X10 chip is promising a flagship-grade performance, while the 13MP camera seems adequately equipped. The MIUI 7 comes out of the box and we know it will deliver a smooth and unique experience.

I have been using REDMI NOTE 3 in Mumbai from past 3 days now and this is what I feel about it:

1. Great Looks: The touch of full metal and the crispness of device is simply amazing and feels quite premium. Very sleek, slim and quite light in weight.

2. Software: Very smooth interface and even after downloading 20+ apps it still has 900 mb left & has around 25.7 GB free internal space (without downloading or adding anything).

3. Display: Very clear, sharp & rich.

4. Camera: With 13mp picture really comes out very clear. Even 5mp front camera is good.

5. Sound: The speaker is quite loud and clear.

6. Finger sensor: The moment you touch the sensor it opens the mobile. Though, sometimes it doesn't work properly.

7. With 4000 mAH battery full charge, it easily works for more than 1.5 days with heavy use of wifi, camera, music, calls etc.

Gearbest team really supported when required.A must must buy mobile at this price.

Suggestion

1. Despite using primary language as English, many things like themes, call logs & Apps (sometimes) etc.

2. It took 43 days to get it in my hand which was worth a wait.

-Octa-Core CPU at 2.0 GHz combined with 3GB of RAM provides excelent performance and encourages multitasking
-MIUI 7 (pre-installed) is easy to use, easy to customize, providing some more 'freedom' for the user than most android experiences
-Beautiful disign with alluminium cover instead of plastic
-Fingerprint scanner works very well, recognising the fingerprint quickly
-There is a LED light on the front, which is also customizable, so the user can use another colour for missed calls, messages, notifications, etc.
-Strong Wi-Fi signal
-4G works well even in Greece
-Averall nice display
-Huge battery capacity - can last more than a day of full use
-Google Play Store is there (pre-installed)
-Apps do not mistaken the phone for a rooted device, even though it runs MIUI (which is android, as well)
-Body's build allows one-hand use, despite the 5.5" screen
-Nice videos
-Sound is overall good
-Thin and light phone - fits in pockets and is easy to carry around

Suggestion

-Non expandable storage (no micro SD card slot)
-Non-removable battery
-Photos could be slightly better
-(I don't think this is actually a drawback, but I think it needs to be mentioned): MIUI might be hard to get used to in order to change some settings
-Xiaomi's Market (not Play Store) is in Chinise
-Instruction Manual is in Chinese
-No Gorilla Glass - makes the screen vulnerable to scraches (tempered glass is a must)

Es mi primera compra de la marca Xiaomi, me lo recomendó mi hijo que ha comprado dos, yo también han sido dos terminales uno para mi mujer y otro para mi, me ha sorprendido la calidad en general, funciona a las mil maravillas, la pantalla tiene una resolución magnifica, con una definición increíble, el sonido es más que suficiente y se escucha francamente bien en cualquier situación. La cámara para mi opinión es buena y con muchos parametros de control, en cuanto a la personalización de MIUI es muy intuitiva y espero que Xiaomi actualice PRONTO su versión para este terminal.
Por parte de GearBest o por el distribuidor me ha llegado con la versión europea que incluye el catalán y el castellano, lo cual es de agradecer ya que según las pruebas solo venia en Chino y en Ingles. Muchas gracias.
También comentar que junto con el terminal me ha llegado el adaptador de corriente que es de agradecer nuevamente.
La compra ha sido todo un acierto.

Suggestion

De momento ninguna, salvo que actualicen la versión MIUI para este terminal (la verdad es que tampoco han tenido mucho tiempo, puesto que acaba de salir al mercado), dado que hay parte de la personalización que no esta del todo bien traducida y salen textos en chino y ingles, aunque no es muy importante, tiene que mejorar.

Great build quality, nice design
Easy to use Interface. No lag at all.
Came with play store pre-installed and without chinesse apps.
I come from a windows phone and found miui a pleasure to use.
Display is excellent. My girlfriend has an Samsung s3 neo and by comparison, the one in redmi note is way sharper. Colors aren't amoled vivid but I prefer natural LCD colors.
Camera is OK for everyday use (for me it's perfect), but I wouldn't recommend it to a photo enthusiast.
Audio quality in speakers is great, with headphones it is better than my ex lumia 625, but I wouldn't say it's premium.
Performance is awesome. Battery life excellent!

Suggestion

It took aprox. 10 days for the order to be processed, but it was during holidays, so it's understandable. After dispatch, received the order in 3 days via DHL's expedited shipping.

None regarding the phone.

Ожидаемо отличный телефон. Купил брату на замену Redmi Note 2. На днях обновилась прошивка MIUI и добавились приятные мелочи. Отличный украинский перевод всего меню. Хорошая автономность благодаря белее емкой батарее. В общем покупкой доволен на 100%. Спасибо за быструю доставку!

1. The price is very affordable and fits the product
2. The phone is ergonomic
3. The battery lasts at least for 1 day. That in case you simply attach the phone to your forehead, set the highest brightness, turn off the screen lock, turn on the bluetooth/wifi/mobile data etc and watch a 1080p video on youtube.
My record is 3 days without charging and there were 8% left
4. the games run smooth, even the top tier shooters or racing games
5. The fingerprint scanner runs fast with very little errors
6. A whole bunch of free chinese ringtones =)
etc

Suggestion

1. The vibration force is almost insignificant. I don't feel the phone ringing in my pocket.
2. The Redmi custom android shell will take time to get along with, especially the sms system. extracting data from the sms, for me was not trivial for the first time.
3. The camera is not the best one and it lacks filters.
